Kora Beach Resort Phuket

The hotel overall is really good. The facilities are new, and the service is excellent. It's right on the beach, which is a huge plus. The only downside is the high humidity in the room; the blankets felt a bit damp and sticky at night, which wasn't very comfortable. Also, the air conditioning blows directly onto you, and it's quite cold and strong, making it a bit unbearable.

The new accommodation is pretty good, but the service is quite slow. For instance, I requested an extra bed, which I paid for at 6 PM, but it wasn't set up until 9 PM. I also requested housekeeping at 5 PM, but they forgot to clean my room. When I called, they said they were short-staffed and couldn't keep up, which I understand given it's a new hotel, but they definitely need to improve.

This hotel left a really positive impression on me. The staff deserve the highest praise! Thanks to the hotel for the excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Everything in the hotel is tastefully done and perfectly in line with the style, without any flaws. The breakfasts here are on par with a five-star hotel in Thailand. The coffee is simply wonderful.

Lovely front desk staff, great location. There's a restaurant on the rooftop, and the dining area is like a beautiful mini aquarium.

The hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Check-in was quick and smooth. We were offered a welcome drink and a refreshing cold towel. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade; we had booked a garden view but received a room with direct access to our own pool. The hotel consists of several four-story buildings, each with its own elongated pool, plus there's a large central pool with a bar. The main building houses the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and there's a rooftop bar with a panoramic view. The hotel is located right across the road from the sea, with new hotels being built nearby. The beach area is lush with trees and greenery; you walk through a small forest to get there. The beach was very quiet, with only hotel guests present. The shore is clean, and the entry into the sea is gradual, shallow, and the water is clear. There are a couple of stalls on the beach selling drinks and coconuts. We were very pleased with the hotel. The buffet was well worth the price, offering a great variety of dishes, fruits, vegetables, and greens. The service, assistance, and attentiveness of the staff were excellent. The hotel is quite isolated; there are no cafes, shops, or scooter rentals in the immediate vicinity. Initially, we were a bit disappointed that the only cafe within walking distance was about 1 km away. We regretted not renting a scooter from day one, as it would have made our vacation much easier. I've stayed in many hotels in Thailand, and Hotel Kora is a solid 4+. It was a wonderful stay. If you're looking for solitude, peace, and sunset walks without crowds of Russian tourists, this is the place for you.

The place is very beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was delicious, as were the meals in the restaurant overall. Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy, especially if there are activities at the rooftop bar. Generally, everything was great, and although we had a small issue, it was quickly resolved.
