Andamantra Resort and Villa Phuket

I had an amazing staycation at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, while the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The facilities, especially the pool and restaurant, made the experience even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind without traveling far. Highly recommended for a peaceful and refreshing getaway! SPECIAL thanks for floating breakfast. At the same time I want to thank the AC technician who came at midnight and fixed the airflow problem within a very short time.

The water quality is terrible, cancellations are done but still prompt out in the front desk, dunno I'm the agent or trip.com are, gotta settle all the issues by myself. Shuttle service is slow during peak hour and non peak hour. 4th times staying here probably will be my last. The staff is friendly enough only the management needs to be improved.

The hotel has buffet breakfast but it has definitely downsized since 2023 so don’t expect much variety. Their food is good for in-room dining and the pools are well-maintained. The cleanliness was definitely the biggest failure in terms of “value for money” considering there is a slimy/sticky residue whenever any sort of moisture meets the floor (coming out of the shower/sweaty from hot weather/coming inside from the balcony bath) and the towels have noticeable stains in them. The bathroom sink only had hot water and the toilet was disgusting - flushing water had a sewage smell. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly - going beyond to help out. Overall, though, the hotel has a “run down” feeling and an atmosphere of neglect in maintenance. The plumbing in our room (sink & toilet water) could be due to lack of use but it’s still a shame to spend that much money and receive a mediocre room experience.

The location of this hotel is not very convenient as there is not many shops nearby. My hotel room is located very high on a hill and I need to always call the hotel shuttle bus to go down to lobby. To go to the nearest 7 eleven store, I need to walk down a slope about 7mins to reach. Hotel provide a 50 baht per person taxi to Bangla market. But is only available every day 11am and 6pm. The toilet door design is terrible. There's no lock on the toilet door and even when the toilet door is closed, there is a gap between the door and the wall. I can peep inside the toilet when standing outside the toilet. The bed frame design is also very poor. The bed frame is all rectangular shaped with sharp edges poking out. My knees knocked into the sharp edges when walking around the bead room which is painful. The tooth brush, toothpaste, slippers is all chargeable and not given. The housekeeping staff service is very slow as I have ordered outside food to eat in my room. And I need to throw rubbish outside my room corridor. I asked the housekeeping staff to come and clear it. But no one came even after I called reception 3times. The swimming pool is only open at10am which really sucks, meaning I cannot have a swim before taking my breakfast. This spoils my mood the whole day as I have no appetite for my breakfast at all. The swimming pool is also very dirty even though there's a great seaview. There are cigarette butt and sand inside the pool even though there's a smoking sign at the pool. End up I didn't even get to use the pool at all. There's also a mandatory 2000baht deposit which they only accept in cash. This is terrible as they don't accept credit card payment. They made us pay so much money but the service I get is so terrible. I do not recommend families to book this hotel as the location is not convenient and room design is very poor.
