Coconut Village Resort Phuket

To be honest i dont know why people gave bad review. For the price, you get good location, quite place, staff was friendly, they did what was requested, room was clean and spacious, swimming pool was clean. I mean i think this place is underrated. To future guests. I can say ignore the bad reviews and personally i would recommend you here. Pro tip, if you want to buy beer. Buy from the resort instead. It was so much cheaper than the beers you buy on the streets. Beer on the streets bottled chang, 80-100 baht Hotel 60-65 baht.

Good hotel, in a good spot with 711 out side, food market 2 minute walk and 5 minute to beach.

We loved the place. Rooms are cozy and reasonable. Stuffs are polite. They also upgraded our rooms 🥹. We’ll definitely recommend this place and we’re going to stay here again and again ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Team Coconut Village Resort.

Great resort and location friendly and helpful staff but still has the worst wifi in Patong

The staff are quite pleasant, the pool is average with a bar on the outside of it. I thought the buffet breakfast was very average for the 350 baht fee. They also have a cafe that serves meals which is quite nice, but you can't get room service till after 11:30 normally. It's not a guest friendly hotel so after the first guest you have there, you will be charged an additional 500 baht per night for further guests. The wifi is very quick but the air-conditioning was quite noisy.Overall I'd give it a 6/10.

Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault.

Our stay at Coconut Village Resort & Spa Phuket was extremely disappointing and ultimately unbearable. The hotel is very dated and clearly in need of refurbishment, with tired facilities, poor maintenance, and a below-average breakfast that didn’t meet even basic expectations. I have attached pics to show above and not the cleanest of bathrooms in fact very dirty. The biggest issue by far was the noise. The so called tropical rooms are right by a busy road, and the constant sound of cars and motorbikes is incredibly loud and continues well into the night. Sleep was almost impossible, even with earplugs. The lack of proper soundproofing makes this completely unacceptable for a hotel that’s meant to be a place to relax. When we raised this during our stay, the response from staff was poor. We were offered another room just three doors away, which would have made absolutely no difference given the source of the noise. We were then told we couldn’t move to a different, quieter block because it would be considered a “downgrade” at that point, we would have accepted anything just to get some sleep. The complete lack of flexibility or understanding was frustrating. In the end, the situation became so bad that we left with 4 nights still remaining on our booking and were not offered any refund. We then booked another hotel for remaining 4 nights adding extra cost to our holiday. That says everything about how uncomfortable the stay was. When we checked out, we were asked if there was anything they could do. I said that a refund for the remaining nights would be a reasonable gesture of goodwill, given the circumstances. Instead, they hid behind the fact that the booking was made through a third party. But realistically, who doesn’t use platforms like Trip, Booking or Trivago nowadays? It felt like an excuse rather than an attempt to resolve a genuine issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break. John & Caroline
