Booked in advance during the rainy season, so the value for money was excellent. The water slide was a lot of fun. I had emailed asking for a high floor, but we were given the third floor, which was a bit damp. However, we did get a room in the Eagle building directly facing the pool. There was an extra 300 THB charge per night for the child, and the breakfast, while available, felt a bit chaotic due to lack of management.

This hotel offers good value for money, especially during the off-season, where the price matches the quality. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I communicated with the hotel via email in advance, and they arranged a high-floor room with good views of the sunny pool. The room was dry, without any musty smell or dampness. Breakfast was just okay; the coffee wasn't freshly ground, and there were many people, making it hard to get a seat on the first floor. Due to the high number of guests, the staff couldn't pay attention to details, and cleaning often wasn't done until 3 or 4 PM. The pool water quality was mediocre. The hotel's location is good, just a 5-7 minute walk to the beach or 7-Eleven, and a 10-15 minute walk to Kata Night Market. Overall, it's a recommended family-friendly hotel that offers good value.

The environment is really great. It's perfect for kids, and the pool is huge, they had a blast. Thumbs up. The hotel is very large, and the restaurant is also enormous. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Baan KanTiang Resort boasts a fantastic location within walking distance of Kata Beach. The on-site water park is a huge hit, the rooms are clean and spacious, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The service is attentive, and it offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for family vacations.

Bringing kids here is a breeze with the water park. The street right outside the hotel has tons of food options, and the seafood prices are similar to Patong's – very fresh and delicious. 7-Eleven has the cheapest water. The breakfast offers a good variety, but the quality is pretty standard for a 3-star hotel; no fresh juice, for instance. My only slight concern is that the room doors are quite hard to close. If you don't push hard, they won't shut, but if you push too hard, I'm worried about disturbing the neighbors.

I rarely leave low ratings, but when I arrived at the hotel in the early hours, there was no one to show me to my room. It was incredibly difficult to find, even though I'd emailed ahead requesting a room in the Lion building. Instead, I was given the furthest room at the very back. The room had a strong musty smell, and you absolutely need to bring your own showerhead or you won't be able to brush your teeth. Service was practically nonexistent, especially at breakfast where it was a scramble just to find a seat – a really poor experience. On top of that, the waterslide was under maintenance. On the plus side, doing laundry at the entrance was convenient; someone helped with it and folded everything, so no waiting was required.

The waterslide was incredibly fun! Lots of great food options nearby and excellent value for money.

The facilities are decent and great for kids. However, I found it concerning that there's no lifeguard on duty at the pool, which feels unsafe. Also, the room wasn't as clean as I would have liked.
