Sugar Ohana Poshtel

A very cozy, modern, small hotel. Upon check-in, we received a 20% discount on a massage at Pearl (the building next door). The breakfasts were excellent, and I was especially pleased to see cold coffee available.

I definitely recommend the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious, the staff was friendly, and I would come back again. We stayed for a week, and the price/quality ratio was 100%. A few minor downsides were the lack of sheer curtains in the room. Opening the curtains allowed you to see the hotel across the street, but with the curtains closed, there wasn't much light. And as everyone mentioned, the stairs were a bit of a bummer. But these are minor details, and I'll be back again ❤️

The view from the window is beautiful, overlooking palm trees. It actually faces a busy road, so you might hear loud music and traffic noise. There's a clothes dryer, shampoo, and shower gel. The sea is only a 7-minute walk away. Karon Beach is a 15-minute walk away. Bed linen and cleaning are provided every morning, but the linens and towels were often stained. We're not picky, but it was still unpleasant. There's also a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain. We're not sure what it's about, but at times the smell was very pungent. Otherwise, everything was fine. Breakfasts were modest but filling, and there was plenty to eat. The staff themselves were wonderful, smiling Thais.

Clean. The room has more than enough everything, I didn't have time to evaluate the breakfast, I left in the morning. It's inconvenient that the entrance is right from a busy street. It's inconvenient that the balcony is in the wall. It seems expensive for this price..
