Hotels in Phuket Airport Area, Phuket

Maya Hotel is located in the sub-district Sahku of Thalang District, Thailand. The hotel should highlight Sakhu on its address so that new foreign guests who have never entered Phuket can complete the Thailand digital e-Arrival Card correctly. Phuket Airport is also located in the same area of Sakhu, where Sakhu Provincial Police Station and Tourist Police are located at the International Terminal and Maya Hotel is of a two to three minutes' walk from the International Terminal. I choose to stay at Maya Hotel, Phuket, early this time because I want to capture shots of aircraft flying in the sky across the Andaman Sea during daytime and I am happy to stay in the same room to shoot photos of aircraft in flight. As part of the hotel's measures to reduce costs, complimentary breakfast takes place at the ground floor restaurant rather at the Restaurant in Building A but the chef is not found behind the egg station cooking other kinds of eggs. There are less variety of breakfast this time but price of food served in the ground floor restaurant during lunch and dinner are acceptable. Toiletries are kept inside a bundled object with the words ”FOR ROOM USE ONLY”. Bicycles can be borrowed for free to explore the nearby beaches. Until I find a better place to stay and depending on the right budget, I will stay in Maya Hotel again.

Always a pleasure to stay in Dewa. The vibe in hotel is so peaceful and cosy, tropical heaven. So many beautiful trees and flowers and very quiet. Stayed in Pool Villa and you just don’t want to escape from it, such a pleasure. Tried their Spa and all are professional and service is great! Generally the service is incredible here, all staff always trying to make everything to make sure guest stay is perfect. Special thanks to Meen and all ladies at reception, so so friendly service! Location is very convenient, 5 min walk to main restaurants area, 5 min to 7-11 and Tops. Pool area is not really convenient, too limited with sunbeds. Breakfast in general is very good with plenty of choice, except eggs station impression, scramble was always absolutely tasteless and not tasty. It repeats every visit and nothing changing here. In a separate menu that is available only for Villa guests, salmon option with cream cheese and avocado is recommended, but don’t order Acai bowl, it’s just so badly cooked, looks like water after melted ice, absolutely tasteless and not recommended. Room service food taste was also absolutely disappointing. Also, last time there is some new staff at breakfast with name Wawa, whose behavior was shocking, overfamiliar behavior with guests, super loud speaking all the time, touching guests like friends and even flirting openly and loudly announcing that she can be a good girlfriend. For hotel staff it’s not acceptable at all, especially for a 5*. Especially compared to other Dewa staff who are so wonderful. Not sure why restaurant manager wasn’t paying any attention to that. In general I feel like they need to change restaurant chef or change their approach for food cooking, this is my impression since my first stay there in 2023, since that time nothing improved. It is still one of my favorite hotels and can’t wait to be back again! You always feel super welcomed here. Comfortable with beautiful garden and amazing staff.

This hotel is like one of those basic budget hotels you find in China. The room size was decent, but it was facing the street and the traffic noise was really loud. The in-room facilities were pretty standard, with a fridge and a safe as extra amenities. It's about 1 kilometer from Phuket International Airport, right by an intersection. There are two 7-Eleven stores nearby and plenty of places to eat. Nai Harn Beach is about 1.5 kilometers away. That's about it.

This motel was very clean,very modern and the staff were great.I was very impressed the price was great for the quality you get perfect for us because we arrived late in the evening and was only 10 minutes walk from airport. Highly recommend for a night or 2 . Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel last minute near the airport for my last night before flying back, right after a diving trip. The room was large but the facilities were old; you could tell it used to be a charming resort from its layout. On the way from the front desk to my room, I asked a staff member if there was any mosquito control. His English wasn't great, so he comically demonstrated how to swat a mosquito with his hand, which was a bit awkward and frustrating, as I couldn't believe a hotel in a tropical region didn't provide a mosquito repeller. Later, I literally had to swat mosquitoes myself. The bathtub's water pressure wasn't great, and water spilled all over the floor while showering, which was quite unpleasant. The bed and pillows, however, were quite comfortable, and the duvet had a faint scent of soap. The room's air conditioning was extremely noisy. Perhaps because I was exhausted from several days of diving, I still managed to sleep relatively well that night. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the airport for 200 Thai Baht per person. I paid for it and booked it when I checked out on my departure day. Even though I was the only passenger, they still arranged a car for me. It was cheaper than taking a taxi, so it was quite a good deal.

Stayed here during a work trip while attending the Thailand International Boat Show near Yacht Haven Marina. It is a decent budget hotel, and overall a comfortable stay. The highlight of my experience was definitely the staff. Lek, Sabai, and Green were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. They even offered me a late checkout after knowing my flight departure time, which I really appreciated. Location wise, it is convenient if you are heading to Yacht Haven Marina, but do note it is quite far from Patong town. Do plan your itinerary accordingly before booking.

Stayed at this hotel for a few days with my best friend during our trip to Phuket, and the overall experience was much better than expected. The hotel is very close to the airport, but it's surprisingly quiet at night. I didn't hear any airplane noise, which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself was very new, and honestly, the facilities were better than a more expensive room we stayed in later (over 1000 baht). It was new and very clean, and the pool was also great for photos. We had a small hiccup during check-in. Due to a flight delay, we arrived quite late, and our booked bed type was no longer available. The front desk staff patiently helped us resolve the issue. Not only did they fix it quickly, but they also upgraded us to a pool access villa. Their attitude throughout the whole process was excellent and very patient. The next day, we also took the hotel's shuttle bus to Nai Yang Beach for a walk – it's actually within walking distance. Compared to the lively Patong Beach, this area is much quieter, with many European tourists sunbathing and dining by the sea, giving it a real holiday vibe. If I ever come back to Phuket, I'd definitely stay here again for a few more days.

There are only 20 rooms in total. The hotel reception is rather laid-back. Each room is in its own separate building. Hot water is plentiful, WiFi is fast, and there's a swimming pool right outside. It's about a 1.8km walk to the beach and airport. There's a 7-Eleven nearby.

Overall, the room rate offers good value for money. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the beach, so you'll need to take a car to get there. However, it's close to the airport and the hotel provides a shuttle service, though the drop-off locations are quite limited, which isn't ideal.
