Ramchang Guesthouse

The room was adequate, had a fridge, clean towels, air conditioning, tv but no plug. We were able to hire a motorcycle which was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We would stay there again.

Restaurant and pool were closed :( due to a group booking. The place is good, friendly staff, good Location , spacious room.

The Ramchang Guest House... is a bit of a way outside the "city." Battambang feels like a large, overgrown village. The hotel itself reminded me of country guest houses in Mexico. The hotel is in the midst of rice-paddies. Easy to get to the town by TukTuk. The room was not large, but was comfortable. AC worked well. Comfortable beds, with good linens. The dining room serves delicious and affordable meals. They have a good laundry service. The sweet lady even ironed my clothes. (I haven't had an ironed shirt in over 20 years!) There is a swimming pool in the lush, tropical garden. Frangipani flowers under foot scented our meanders through the garden. Over-all a great place. Note: Very little English spoken.

I had four nights here and loved it. The staff and friendly and helpful, the location is quiet, and the price is right for what you get. The reason I chose this establishment is because of the pool. It was lovely to be able to have a cold plunge after a busy day in the heat. The place was quiet and not too busy, so there was always space to lounge by the pool. The room met my expectations for the price and it didn’t bother me that it was not bright with light. The air conditioning unit worked really well and that was the main thing for me. The restaurant wasn’t open in the evening, but local establishments were. Breakfast was available in the morning from 7:30am. I can recommend this place if you visit Battambang, even though it is out of town a little bit. Getting a tuktuk is no problem. I will stay here again if I come back to Battambang.

I like that it was not located in the busy area of town it was just outside beautiful just ideal and relaxing the amenities were limited because of the season but mostly was an excellent stay will definitely consider it again

Great I stayed at Ramchang for two days. The restaurant is delicious and the staff is very friendly. They helped me find a great Tuk Tuk driver and I had a wonderful time.
