We arrived at this gem early, and they showed us right to our room. It was a small suite, sparsely furnished consistent with the historical inhabitants hundreds of years earlier, the Franciscan friars. The bed was super comfy with a large pillow top. They recommended a local restaurant, 5 minutes from the hotel, that was so good, we returned twice. The restaurants in the neighboring town of Abbadia were not good. The hotel and pool were totally relaxing and it is a great place to unwind in this 800 year old monastery.

Di resort e relais ne ho visti ormai parecchi, in Italia e fuori: un posto come il Convento San Bartolomeo però non ha confronti, almeno per chi non cerca il lusso sfrenato e a volte pacchiano, ma la semplicità e l'eleganza che fanno la vera qualità. Stanze ampie e confortevoli, cure e premure per gli ospiti, colazione e dinner di altissimo livello. E il tutto nell'atmosfera propri di questi luoghi, senza tempo, rarefatta, che lascia spazio al riposo, alla lettura ma anche, se lo si vuole, a qualche conversazione con gli altri ospiti nel bellissimo orto dei frati o nelle stanze affrescate. E poi, d'estate come d'inverno, la splendida piscina con acqua riscaldata affacciata su Radicofani e la Val d'Orcia. Un'esperienza da ripetere e ripetere, perché assolutamente unica.

Location storica e incantevole immersa nel verde. Piscina con vista sulla val d’Orcia e presenza di vasca idromassaggio esterna. Stanze molto belle e ben curate. Possibilità di cenare all’interno della struttura nel refettorio circondati da affreschi con ottimi piatti della tradizione toscana. Perfetto se vuoi staccare e rilassarti… Marianna e il suo staff sono stati veramente gentili e disponibili. Voto 10! Anna e Jacopo

Es war paradiesisch! Die antike Location spielt alle Stückchen! Freundlicher und zuvorkommendes Personal. Persönlicher Kontakt zu den Hotelbesitzern in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind sehr elegant und mit Geschmack eingerichtet und teilweise mit antiken Malereien versehen. Komfortable Bäder. Alles sehr sauber und schön! Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend! Reichhaltiges Frühstück für alle Geschmacksrichtungen. Auch zu Mittag eine Auswahl von Köstlichkeiten möglich. Herrliche Salatteller! Das Abendessen nimmt man im Renaissance bzw. Barockspeisesaal ein. Vornehm und köstlich! Auch der Wein schmeckt sehr in ruhiger Atmosphäre. Lauschige Gartenplätzchen laden zum Verweilen ein! Ein Highlight ist der Pool mit Blick über das Orciatal und die angrenzenden Hügel! Abends gibt es wöchentlich Livemusik vom Feinsten! Ob allein oder als Gruppe ist man ein gerne gesehener Gast. Sprachen: Italienisch, Englisch, Deutsch und Portugiesisch. Der Wellnessbereich mit Whirlpool und super guten Massagen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ich werde sicherlich wiederkommen! Dimora storica di grande fascino, l’orto dei frati è bellissimo, con i suoi alberi da frutto, un morbido prato, i divanetti e un dondolo dove rilassarsi. Il personale è di una gentilezza squisita. Si può anche cenare, sia nella sala affrescata che all’esterno, godendo di una magnifica vista. Un rifugio perfetto!

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente in diesem ehemaligen Kloster. Sehr nettes Personal, das für jede Frage zur Verfügung stand. Zimmer einfach, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Eine wunderschöne Frühstücksterrasse, ein wunderschöner Garten und ein Pool mit einem phänomenalen Ausblick auf die Hügeln der Umgebungen. Frühstück abwechslungsreich. Beim 4-gängigen Abendmenü kann man auch kleine Portionen haben. Eine besondere Art von Hotel, im positiven Sinne.

Es ist ein Ort voller wunderbarer Geschichten. Wir durften das ehemalige Kloster durch eine Führung der Hotelmanagerin mit allen Siinen wahrnehmen. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns mit Freundlichkeit bedient, informiert und vorzüglich mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. Die Zimmer sind historisch eingerichtet alles ist sauber und komfortabel. Sensationell ist die Aussicht auf das Orkia Tal. Rundum ein Paradies!

Io e mia moglie siamo stati al Convento nei giorni 22-24 Giugno. Un ambiente magico dove riesci a ritrovare equilibrio e serenità. Accolti con discrezione dai padroni di casa, pieni di premure verso gli ospiti, abbiamo fatto un soggiorno eccezionale. Un luogo da vivere con rispetto, Immerso nella storia. Meravigliosa la vista dalla piscina riscaldata. cenare nel refettorio dei frati, fra affreschi e il soffitto a cassettone vale il viaggio. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Speriamo di tornare presto.
