The hotel itself is a bit dated but well maintained and clean. The service was good and breakfast was substantial. Pool seemed unused for years with black spots of algae but we were not really into swimming so its ok. The room size were nice and big but sound proof is not too good. We can hear the kids playing from the other room. Beds were good and comfy. Smells clean and soft. Location is good. Walking distance to everything you need.

Enjoyed cooked and continental breakfast.Lower part of shower curtains need bleaching cos yellowy coloured mould growing. Cigarettes butts on ground straight outside our front sliding balcony door! One darkhaired female pakeha housekeeper had an attitude by her body language...should leave that at home! Otherwise very helpful staff who treated us like they would like to be treated. No milk left in our room on arrival or daily supply. Our prepaid booking was for daily housekeeping.Overall comfortable stay...mattress ,pillows and bedding. Nice hot showers. Enjoyed using heated outdoor pool in all weather conditions. Socialising with some other guests. We want to return for a longer holiday! Thank you.

Nice hotel. Looked better from the outside than inside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is a bit tired. Room decor was a bit average - not as good as pictures on website. Overall a good stay.

Good stay, is getting dated but still nice.

Ten minutes walk from the pier, arrived late at night, key collection by yourself. The hotel is being renovated in batches, the bathroom is brand new. The room rate includes Continental breakfast, which has a variety of breads, coffee, yogurt, juice, cereal, and an additional $15 can be upgraded to full breakfast, which has freshly made Benedict eggs, bacon, meat, sausage, etc. The king of value for money!

The hotel has many rooms, reasonable prices, free parking and breakfast, and is convenient to the pier.

It's a quarter of an hour's drive from Picton Pier, adjacent to the mouth of the bay, and a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are many restaurants, and the service point for booking a trip to the sea is just out the door and turn right. Parking is convenient, but there is only one elevator next to the building. If you live on the third floor, it is not convenient to go up and down. Breakfast is indeed very simple, and those who order scrambled eggs are charged separately.

The hotel is on the beach in Picton. The beach is beautiful, with many bars and restaurants, but no Chinese food. Part of the free breakfast is charged.
