We booked for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast and thiroughly enjoyed the chilled atmosphere and hospitality of a wonderful team - with delicious produce - both drinks and food. We played cards over a delicious local pint of Two Plush Pheasants. Dinner of pidgeon skewers and venison haunch, followed by some extremely tasty cheeses, accompanied by a great selection of wines. Our room was as very comfortable and we slept so well! 💤 Breakfast lovely too, before we headed off to rxplore Dorset, from this great location away from the maddening crows in great rural Dorset. Richard gave us a nice welcome, we then met Shaun the chef from 🇳🇿, and Lydia provided high energy and incredibly warm efficient service. All backed up by the boss Matt who looked after us for breakfast - thank you 🙏 we eill be back! Matt - what was the lovely stinky cheese we had last night, i need to try and get some, a bit like stinky Bishop? Richard
