Sad pool was closed due to Covid but understand there is nothing that they can do about it. Breakfast was decent given the restrictions due to Covid. I booked 2 rooms. One room had a shower “poof” for body wash left over from the person who had the room before us so I’m worried that the room wasn’t cleaned as it should’ve been. In the other room I noticed the complimentary blow dryer was dirty. It had hair stuck to it and the holder was kind of dirty. The room also smelled like grandmas perfume. Just worried again that the room wasn’t cleaned as it should’ve been. And that’s even more important now because of Covid. Think there should be good discounts on rooms since the amenities weren’t available due to the pandemic. Also breakfast is “included” in price. But since you are unable to enjoy the good buffet style breakfast due to Covid I believe the price of the rooms should be adjusted to reflect these things.

There aren't a lot of hotels in the Auburn area and I remember this one from the time I worked in the area, as it was originally built as a King Oscar Hotel. We got a good rate and spent three nights here. Was told it was converted from a Quality Inn to a Comfort Inn & Suites just this past August. The place is up-to-date, with modern furnishings in the rooms and lobby. The rooms are good-sized, plenty of room to move about and relax. I really do not like cramped hotel rooms, so this one was excellent. Check in was fast and friendly. COVID-19 protocols in place, so no coffee station in the lobby and breakfast is pretty much pre-packaged. In our travels it is interesting to see how each property handles these things during the pandemic. The only complaint I have is the wi-fi drops off every few hours and one has to repeatedly log on. It did this while I was on a Zoom meeting on my laptop and I had to quickly switch to my phone so I could continue. One of my hotel pet peeves is that if you offer wi-fi, it should be fully operational because so many of your clients have come to depend on it for their business and informational needs while staying on your property. I would suggest this get brought up with the provider to come up with a solution. Within walking distance there are a couple of fast-food places, an AM/PM gas station and mini mart, and a teriyaki place. Only a couple of miles north to the Outlet Collection Mall, and a couple of miles east to an Albertson's. Near many of the South Auburn/Algona/Pacific industrial areas (including Boeing Fabrication). Noise level is actually not bad, considering the site is next to the SR167 Valley Freeway. We had a 3rd floor room, did not really notice much in the way of outside noise (well, except for the guy who fired up his ultra-bass car sound system in the parking lot!). You could use this place as a jumping-off point for a lot of area travel.

I think we can all agree that exceptional customer service nowadays is RARE. I'm EXCITED to give this review of Comfort Inn, located in Auburn, WA because I have beem treated with nothing but respect from the general manager of this hotel and his front desk staff. I stay in hotels at a minimum of 3 weeks of the month, every month. Majority of the hotels being a Choice Hotel brand. After yet another HORRIBLE expierence at Quality inn in Tacoma, i swore i would never stay at a Choice Hotel brand hotel ever again, until i came across the reviews of Comfort inn located in auburn. I checked in super late at Comfort Inn on 10/23/2019 with no problems, and have extended my stay until right now 10/27/2019 and will be staying a few more night because of how pleased i am. Parking lot is rather small, not very many spots open later at night. Lobby of the hotel smells WONDERFUL, very clean with a fresh pot of coffee available to you, iced lemon water and a flat screen TV with some chairs. Hallways smell just as amazing as the lobby, carpet looks very new and vaccumed. Indoor pool and hottub but i did not use either so i cannot comment on it. Although i have witnessed the general manager cleaning the pool in the mornings. I walked into my room and my jaw dropped, every single thing about my room was perfect. The king size bed was perfrctly made, with big comfy blankets and a goose down comforter with 5 pillows. I did not feel like i need to wipe down and disinfect everything, the mattress itself looked brand new, the A/c / heater didnt have old dust on it, windows had no fingerprints on it, huge mirror on the wall, flat screem TV, shower AND full bathtub in the bathroom, multiple large fluffy towels waiting for me, granite countertops in bathroom, everything was perfect. The room was so clean, it completely made me forget that there was ever guests staying in the room before me. I will DEFINITELY be back and will be referring my friends and family to this hotel.

Let me start by saying I’m going into this review a little miffed. In my 40+ years of traveling, I’ve never had a hotel or motel tell me I can’t use my reward points. But in this case, I was told the points can only be used for “Standard Rooms” and all their standard rooms were booked. So I went ahead and paid for a … non-standard room???. Well, I got to my room and guess what - it was just a standard motel room. There was absolutely nothing special or deficient with this room. With that said and out of the way, here are the positive aspects of my stay. The facility is somewhat new and it was clean (the bleach smell hung heavy in the air). The staff was courteous, but not necessarily friendly. The bed was medium firm and there were plenty of pillows. The free breakfast was pretty good. Within 150 feet from the hotel there were two restaurant … the food at the Pho restaurant was really good. Now for some downsides … (1) for all you light sleepers, this was a noisy motel. Even though we were in a room on the backside of the motel facing an empty lot, we could still hear the nearby traffic noise. Additionally, we could hear guests talking in their room and hallway. We could also hear the footsteps from the floor above us. (2) this motel is located in a not so nice location of Tacoma … they even lock the front lobby doors after certain hours, so you need to use your room key card to enter the lobby and to operate the elevator. Connected to the noise issue … I did hear a couple of gun shots at about 3 AM.

Very clean and nice staff. Nice room for a good price in a good location. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The gated parking garage was a plus. The room felt older and had a little wear and tear, but was we did enjoy it. Would stay there again

For the price and the size of the room, this was a very good place to stay for the night. Only staff I encountered was super friendly and room was clean/bed comfortable. The blinds were a little tattered and the bathroom seemed dated, but those are minor issues. Nice place to relax for night with free parking and restaurants within walking distance.

GGuest UserIt was wonderful to have 6 EV charging stations at this motel. Even though it was only 7.3kW/hr, it is free and enough to make a huge difference on travel. I booked this location specifically for the EV charging feature. I used the J1772 charger.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast and nice to have yogurt and fruit.
The only thing I would do differently is to request a top room floor. We were on the second floor and they do have high ceilings and large rooms, but the party above us was thumping on the floor, ie feet were running. We were in room 201 and I went up to 301 at 1030pm to talk to them. I told them we were getting ready for bed and it was pretty loud as they were right above our room. Although English clearly wasn't their first language, they said ”oh sorry!”. I thought it would start to get more quiet, but lasted until 12:30 am. Honestly, the rooms were dark with the shades closed and if they would have just turned out the lights, there would be absolutely no way anyone could be running around in the dark.
That was the only thing negative was the walls/ceilings might be a little thin, but I guess it depends on your neighbors and again, my request would have been a top floor to avoid this next time.
Beds were very comfortable, check in easy. And again.... Loved EV charging on site. Thank you!

GGuest UserThis was a great surprise. This hotel is new, located in a very popular area, with lots of good restaurants near by. The room is spacious, very clean. They offer a laundry room for guests which ended up great for us to do laundry as we went from one national park to another. Customer service was very friendly as we did the check in. WiFi was the best so far in our room. A great place to stay if you are in the area, or in between national parks.

GGuest UserAhead of booking, we had a fair amount of doubts based on the reviews written here. But we loved this place! It seems family run and the other guests we encountered were pleasant. The cafe is so cute and everything we tried was amazing. We loved sitting out at the picnic tables and on the porch. The location is really prime for a few different hiking spots so we headed out early and looked forward to coming back here both days. Honestly, close to nature, a comfy private room, coffee, pizza (next door) and ice cream — say no more!

GGuest UserThis cabin is a freestanding building that gives a fell of being in the woods alone. It is less than 100 yards from the Nisqually entrance to mount Rainier. is also located close to a great restaurant called the Copper Creek definitely not to be missed.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay here very much. Room/bathroom was clean and, had a full size fridge and kitchen. Customer service was accommodating and pleasant. Laundry room has 4 washers and 8 dryers! Very, very, convenient. Our 2 full beds had clean sheets/pillows and was comfortable. Only issue was the dish network kept losing signal but, I don't blame the hotel for that. Over all experience was exceptional and we're vary satisfied during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff (especially Dazza) for a great customer service.

There is a supermarket opposite the road, there is a casino directly opposite, there are many restaurants around, not far away, walking distance.

LlandlfBooked this room so my 13 year old daughter and I could attend a dog show at the State Fair in Puyallup. It was a huge pain to get the key cards to work. I walked back and forth several times before I finally was able to even get INTO the room. The first night there was a power outage for 4 hours; the second night there was a loud fight outside our room; the third morning at 6am some homeless lady wandered up to me while I was packing our van for the show and asked if she could use my shower. Then she went upstairs and entered a different room. ?? Unfortunately, I just didn't feel safe here with my daughter. In the area farthest from the office, along the back of the building, there were a lot of creepy people who didn't look like they were up to any good.
