Terrible experience. The rooms have no ventilation and the smell is very humid and stuffy. Many insects in the room from coackroaches to spiders. The geyser was not working for both nights and we had to take cold showers. In the morning around 4:30am when we had to leave for the airport (King Shaka) the car was stuck in the garage due to load shedding and the garage door not opening. The owner said it was an electric fault, then later changed the story saying the generator isn’t working. She had no clue how to switch on the generator so we all had to fumble to get it it started. Tried everything we could, she even went to go get petrol thinking that was the issue but it wasn’t. She then called a cousin in the same property who also failed to get it working and then her son who stayed 10 minutes away came and got it going. All in all we were delayed by 1 hour and had to drive 160-180 km/hour just so we don’t miss our flight. Overall traumatic and stressful situation. If we had missed our flight I would sue her for sure! And if the car rental agency comes back with traffic tickets on the car, she is totally paying for those. The own is not fit to run a business and this bnb should be closed immediately due to lack of upkeep of the facility and complete incompetence of the owner.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my experience: The room had a smell of moisture and dampness, which was quite uncomfortable. The mattress was in poor condition, with the wires being felt through the surface, making it difficult to sleep. The shower was inconvenient to use. The noise from the adjacent room was very disruptive, including hearing the snoring of the guest next door.

Feedback on my recent stay at Hidden inn B&B
I feel compelled to share my experience at the Hidden Inn, as it was quite the unexpected adventure.
First and foremost, the pricing is incredibly reasonable, and the reception staff exude warmth in a tranquil setting. However, if you're planning a visit with family or anyone under 18, I would strongly advise against it! The walls seem to have ears—or rather, they amplify the sounds of intimacy from neighboring rooms, which was quite jarring for me.
Before I could voice my concerns, my cousin popped by to say hello, and to my surprise, I was met with a loud knock on the door from the receptionist or perhaps the owner, sternly informing me that visitors were not allowed. This was particularly perplexing, considering I had booked for two adults!
I recalled a phone call I had received earlier, where I was asked whether I preferred two small beds or one large bed, and I had opted for the latter.
It dawned on me that this establishment seems to cater primarily to escorts seeking short-term stays.
Ultimately, I made the decision to check out early, forfeiting some of my money in the process.
I had been swayed by the glowing reviews prior to my booking, but what I encountered was far from satisfactory.

The Hidden Inn is a real peaceful and quiet gem with outstanding service and a fantastic breakfast. Whatever wishes you have regarding your accommodation and diet Vivian will realize them. You get a brilliant value for the money and I can only highly recommend the Hidden Inn. I dearly hope that I'll have the opportunity to stay there again anytime soon.
