Don't hesitate, book this place with confidence. Right across the street from dolly's stampede dinner show and only 10 minutes from dollywood. CLEAN rooms, comfortable beds (BYOPillow if you want a soft pillow), indoor pool/hotub open till 11pm. Breakfast is continental but all you need to get your day started...oatmeal, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, pastries.

This is the only place we stay at in Pigeon Forge as my husbands parents had stayed here from back when they first opened and it became their home away from home. We are here often for events or mini vacations because we live an hour and a half away. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. My only complaints this time around is that the location on the 2nd floor being in the entrance way and hearing a lot or noise because of newcomers as the luggage trolley is noisy when people are walking in the entrance. We are located near the door entrance to the inside area for smoking because they only had 3 rooms available and all smoking rooms. Also saw a small roach in the restroom. Last time we stayed there was a bad issue with ants which is no longer the case but all in all we are rarely disappointed in this motel. You are looking at someone who is very picky and we love it here. The best place to be is on the 3rd floor near the back because it's beyond quiet and you won't hear any noise. The people who are on the 3rd floor above us are loud in addition to the motorcycles outside for the event they are going to and being located near the entrance way. Again they only had 3 rooms available so we just got unlucky this time around. It appears they have done some remodeling since we were here last. The beds are SUPER comfortable and plush. I'm very picky with beds and bedding and have no complaints there. The TV is nice, a little small but nice. The motel is VERY clean - immaculate. There is no bad odors and it doesn't even really smell like a motel but a very clean room. I have allergies so I'm picky with motels. There was one time Norma Dan was booked and we had to stay at another motel which smelled like Lysol-mold and the bathrooms were horrible. 😬 Norma Dan has very nice bathrooms with a large vanity (remodelled) and the entire room is very nice. Budget friendly but prices can't be beat. My husband and son loves the pool/ indoor pool especially and jacuzzi. I don't care for the little shampoo/ soaps and face wipes (too drying) but always bring my own anyway. Continental breakfast is your basic breakfast. I like the pancakes, bagels and banana nut bread muffins are really good. My husband is a meat eater lol so he doesn't go for it but I do. Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay at Norma Dan.

Nice, clean motel. Operated by a local family, staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Two pools, one inside, one out, great for familes with children. Close to everything in Pigeon Forge and a Trolley stop. Pleanty of food nearby, great view. Lots of traffic on the parkway, so quiet it is not, but if you have children, quiet is not an option. Kids will love this place.

From start to finish the ladies running this could not have been more helpful. Told us we're to visit in the smokie mountains that would be easy due to my disability. Breakfast was basic but nice and fresh. Swimming pools both indoors and outdoors could be accessed by myself easy even having to use crutch. Room was basic but for the price was good. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We stayed at Norma Dan for the first time this past week and loved it! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were able to watch the fireworks every evening from the balcony. Judy and Danette at the front desk welcomed us and made us feel like family from the second we walked through the door. We will definitely be back!!

Stayed for one night on a Saturday in June. Rates were reasonable and room was very clean. Front desk clerk was very nice and I enjoyed speaking with her. Breakfast was adequate. Parking was convenient. Pool area was not crowded and clean and well-kept.

EVERYTHING I LOOK FOR IN A HOTEL , room was clean and rodent free , beds and pillows were comfortable , and the water stayed hot for the duration of our showers. the tub did fill up during the shower though. contains an indoor and outdoor pool and spa . the free breakfast is targeted more towards the children though. has a big pot hole in the parking lot(although it is covered with a barrel)

We have stayed here before and were not disappointed either time. The hotel is older, but well maintained and excellently cleaned. The bed was really comfortable. The views don't hurt, either. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! The only minor suggestions I have are: some hooks in the bathroom, a curved shower curtain, and maybe some new towels.

05/31/24 to 06/02/24 - We had a fabulous time here at Norma Dan Motel for the education week by Ripley's. From the time we checked in to Norma Dan to our housekeeper name "Brenda" and the breakfast host - All the staff aiming to please. Our room a N/S Handicap king was very spacious, The king size bed was really comfortable, just wish there was a comforter in the room; but upon checking in the room was kept cool as we walk in after a 300 mile drive from Cincinnati. Between the indoor pool and hot-tub and the outdoor swimming pool they both were a delight. The breakfast buffet was really good except for the Orange Juice that was sour and tangy both mornings we were their. I kinda wish they had Krispy Kreme donuts like they use to a few years ago under different management; but they had dam good coffee, banana nut muffins, bagels, toast, English muffins, (3) types of cereal, Yogurt, hard boiled eggs & awesome pancakes and waffles. The hotel facility was super clean and all the staff were aiming to please. This hotel is definitely family friendly and I give this place (4) Stars. On our stay their we spotted some black bear cubs behind the motel by the dumster, but were wondering where Momma bear was? Overall a great stay for a great price, will defintely be back in the Summer. Many thanks to all the Norma-Dan Staff for their hospitality and Great Attitudes....
