A little out of the way. VERY steep climb to the hotel - taxi needed unless you are very fit. Fine walking down.
Hotel was spotless couldn't fault it at all.
Slight issue with tea & coffee in the room. Couldn't plug kettle in without it being on the floor - could maybe do with a small table near the plug??
Only 1 normal tea bag and 1 fruit t bag for 2 people staying. Had to ask for extra t bags, spoon and milk-wasn't supplied in the room.
Breakfast was good-not a massive choice but what was there was very high quality and was replenished regularly.
The hotel it self was affiliated with a restaurant in town which we went to twice-amazing food and service.
Staff were very helpful-great hotel would definetely recommend and stay again.

The views from the pool are stunning (just don't look at the industrial area below) and the pool area itself is very nicely done. The lady on reception in the morning and the guy in the afternoon/evening were very polite. Unfortunately our room was very small, we only brought hand luggage cases and within minutes of getting out what we needed the room looked cluttered - we put the do not disturb sign on the door as we couldn't see how housekeeping could clean around us if they came anyway No mini bar as we were expecting, also no tea/coffee or spoons... Just kettle and mugs. Breakfast was poor, inattention to detail, needed to ask for bowls, yogurt and glasses and there were no scrambled eggs left or replenished despite 45 mins of service remaining Icing on top of the cake was that we needed to be on the first train from Pinhao at 8am.. We couldn't get out of the hotel at 7.30am, doors locked and staff nowhere to be seen. We couldn't have had breakfast even if we had wanted some on last morning as it didn't start until 8am.

Wonderful location on the hillside with beautiful views of the Douro river valley. Great pool and very peaceful. Main downside with the breakfast experience. Silent room with no ambient music and the choice for breakfast limited.

This is a great place. It’s high on the hillside overlooking the vineyards. There is a beautiful view right outside the front door. I would recommend you get a room with a balcony. This is a smaller hotel that is relatively new and well kept. Parking is underground. We recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay.

This hotel had an almost impossible carpark to enter. In fact it was quite dangerous driving in. The room was incredibly small and it did not supply tissues, shampoo, conditioner or hand cream. The staff were unhelpful and the map of the area was useless as the notations were too small to read. It was most unsatisfactory.

Location was good, difficult getting taxis between 12 - 1 (2 told us they were on lunch) - waited almost an hour as walk to steep with luggage. Staff were very kind and helpful, but also not around for 20 when we arrived. Jacuzzi was out of order. Amazing views and terrace with a pool, nice grounds, good lunch (sandwiches) and wine, rooms modern but small (it's Europe). We would stay again! Loved hotel cat!

Bel hôtel en hauteur avec piscine extérieure avec belle vue sur le Douro, mais quand-même gâchée par des câbles et des cabanes de chantier. Jacuzzi. Grande chambre (n° 10) avec clim, coffre, bouilloire avec sachets de thé (mais pas de café) + 1 carafe d'eau. Grande sdb avec baignoire avec sèche-cheveux. Belle et grande terrasse (vue donnant sur un mur et non sur le Douro).

Beautiful views to be enjoyed from the spacious balconies and very comfortable seating. Loved having afternoon wine and watching the sunset from our balcony. Staff at breakfast was very nice and attentive. Hotel itself is very well maintained. We loved the hotel cat, very sweet and friendly.
