From the welcome we received on arrival to our departure, we cannot fault the quality of services given to us by all staff but especially Gordon. Accommodation, breakfast and cleanliness were excellent. Best night's sleep we have had for years. It was so quiet and peaceful in the beautiful garden setting. Would thoroughly recommend this guest house to anyone.

We spent two nights in this beautiful guest house. The owner Gordon met us on arrival and was so helpful in suggesting where to go for something to eat or drink. The room was lovely, very big with a shower room, dressing room and cloakroom. The bed was so comfortable! At breakfast the staff were so nice and helpful. We had a lovely view onto the front lawn which had been well looked after. Very colourful flowers and even a friendly pheasant appeared in the morning. The guest house is well situated as you can walk into Pitlochry within 5 minutes.

Als letzte Station bei unserer Schottland Rundreise besuchten wir das Claymore Guest House in Pitlochry. Sehr schönes Guest House mit sehr gute Lage am westlichen Ende von Pitlochry kurz Abseits des Zentrums. Ein wunderschönes Haus mit wunderschönem Garten. Das gute frisch zubereitete Frühstück auf Wunsch sogar mit Lachs oder frischem Omelett. Zu Fuß sind der Damm und die Lachstreppe sowie das Zentrum von Pitlochry sehr zügig zu erreichen. Der Gastgeber ist selber beim Frühstück vor Ort und hat für jeden seiner Gäste ein offenes Ohr und Zeit für ein herzliches Gespräch. Bei Problemen steht er jederzeit kurzfristig zur Verfügung uns findet für seine Gäste sofort eine praktikable Lösung für die auftretenden Fragen. Parkplätze sind in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden und sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und das Bad in einem sehr guten Zustand. Ein wundervolles Guest Haus mit einem herzlichen Gastgeber und ein hervorragende Abschluss für unsere Rundreise.

Great location with easy walking to restaurants as well as hiking. Beautiful building and garden. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The room was spotlessly clean. The water pressure in our room was low and the wifi was spotty. Otherwise a perfect stay

Gordon and the team at The Claymore are just superb at providing great rooms with everything you could need. I usually stay B&B when I come up, but as I never make it to breakfast (leave beforehand) this year I self catered in Faskally apartment. Clean, fab. Everything I needed in a great layout and of course my dogs are welcome. Game changing for me this year. I will be back (in a good way, not a Terminator style return).

Stayed in apartment absolutely spotless everything you need chairs to sit outside which I did was lovely and sunny. Owner lovely chatted away, Garden at front stunning well kept Peaceful quiet at night bed massive worth a stay anybody going to Pitlochry Thanks again

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous setting. Gordon and Leanne were fabulous hosts. Never in your face but just checking that all was ok. The hotel breakfast was amazing. All locally sourced produce with a great choice and cooked to perfection. My room was great. Really comfy bed and great bedding. Just an overall great place to stay.
