I booked this for a business trip, out of convenience to be able to walk to my office. Facilities were decent. I did not interact with hotel staff very much, but those interactions were pleasant. Room itself felt a bit dated, but served its purpose.

Always a good stay

I lived on the 19th floor, and a little mouse ran into the room. Even though I was moved to another room, I was still disgusted.

The environment is clean, the service attitude is good, and the transportation is convenient.

Yes, convenient to travel

King suite is very dated. We needed linens and were never brought, had to wait at front desk for nearly an hour for them.

The room is average. I have stayed in nicer accommodations for less. The bathroom is on the smaller side. However it does come with a walk in closet for extended stays. Its only an 8 minute walk to the PPG Arena.

As previously rated, the washroom door was broken, wouldn't close properly and noisy. Only 2 bottles of water for 3 guests booked. The pool was not opened as stated time. The parking for guest had no discount. The window blinds cannot be closed nor the curtains.

We came to watch a hockey game, so the location of the property was very convenient. When we visit Pittsburgh, we also like to visit the northside and the hotel is literally across the street from the steel Plaza station light rail to get to the north side, and it’s only three stops away.

Valet was chaotic and sloppy. My room had 2 refrigerators (1 was broken) and no microwave. We went to use the pool and were told we can’t because it was over capacity. We were given a handicap room therefore we couldn’t use the bathtub due to the chair being in there (also broken and rusted). Our check in time was supposed to be 4pm and when we called asking if we could check in possibly around 2pm I was also told our check in time was pushed back to 5pm. We will not be staying there again.

The room was clean but the room temp was set too hot. The hair dryer was missing, had to call front desk for one. The towel rack & handle on nightstand fell off. Great location for the event we were attending.

The beds are very soft which isn’t good for my back. The refrigerator has no solid front door on it and a light inside so when all the lights were out, all you could see was this light illuminating the room. It looked like an old wine keeper and not a refrigerator. Then the smoke detector flashed all night with a bright white light which was right infront of our bed, that wasn’t pleasant. Sink in the bathroom was slow draining. Why any hotel puts the towel rack INSIDE the shower is unreal to me. We stayed here to go to a concert at the arena which was super close and convenient. Pool was ok, needs some fresh paint in areas. Staff at check in was outstanding. Bigelows offered a breakfast Buffett hardly worth the price. Wet scrambled eggs, soggy French toast, sausage with a casing so thick you could break a tooth. The only good thing was the staff, probably wouldn’t stay there again if given another choice.
