Stayed for one night pasting though the area. The clerk at the checkin was behind a 1” bulletproof glass so I wasn’t sure what kind of area I was staying in. The room was ok, but the heat didn’t work and the mattress was almost as hard as the floor. The shower was wonderful and my favorite part of my stay.

This cute hotel is a peaceful and quiet place right near all amenities and highway. I like its renovated building with clean rooms, great services, fridge, microwave, and clean facilities.

This is a perfect place for short stays as the hotel is in a convenient location, its rooms are all smoke free and super clean, fridge, iron board, Microwave, TV and Internet work perfect. Just do not forget to take some mineral water with yourself to make coffee or tea at your room. At its price, it is a jewel in the city.

Staying at this Red Roof almost weekly has made me and my girlfriend become RediReward members and only ever want to stay at Red Roofs when we travel from now on. As a matter of fact, because of the Wilkes-Barre Red Roof, last night I had to stay at a budget hotel in another state and I wound up spending a little above my budget just to feel the confort of the Red Roof sign. Dirty sheets, water damage, burnt out lamps. Stay away from this dump! It’s not worth the stay even if it were free. Staff is not polite. AC is noisy. Filthy bath tub. Just avoid the place, you will not have a pleasant stay here. You are better off sleeping in your car!

A cute hotel in a perfect location and with renovated, clean rooms. I like staying at such convenient places. Please avoid making noise for others as teh hotel seems to have strict rules. There is fridge in the rooma nd microvawe. So, you can buy some foods and drinks from outside.

The picture shown looks very nice, but that is not reality! The rates are great and I must remember that we get what we pay for. The rooms are musty to moldy smelling, and while we were grateful that animals were accepted, and not charged, we would never have stayed there if we knew what it was like. There is no elevator, and when we arrived about 8PM, we were told we would have to pay a higher rate because no king beds were available on first floor. Since we are older, we took the two queen beds on the first floor, knowing we could not carry our crated animal up the stairs. The attendant did give us some good directions for local eateries, thankfully. The beds were comfortable, and we were exhausted, so we slept well. We did choose to pay for our pet at another hotel on the way back.

Terrible, disgusting motel! It was so bad we didn’t even stay. Couldn’t risk my families health and safety. There is no lobby to check in, just a person behind plexi-glass who half way acknowledges you when you walk you. Parking lot was full of people who appeared to be homeless and just hanging out around the hotel. Definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Disgusting!

Canceled reservation within in 45 min Husband (85 yr old) Vomiting and sick Opened Complaint case. Never heard from them. When I called to check told they closed the case, never informed me. They kept 138.75 for not staying. Will never stay at a Red Roof again. BE careful people

This place is a DUMP! Let me repeat myself, this place is a DUMP. Hasn’t been renovated in nearly 10 years; heater/AC blow dirt (not air); towels are gross; bed sheets are gross. Lady behind the bullet proof glass at front desk with her tank top and tattoos couldn’t care less. Need I go on? Sorry…did I mention this place is a DUMP? 🤷

I was nervous when I pulled up to this Red Roof. The exterior of the building looked pretty run down, and due to COVID, I had to check in using the night window, which seemed a bit scary - like one of those shops that has bars on the windows. Check-in was fast, neither friendly nor hostile, and we pulled around to the back and opened the door to the room with some apprehension. But everything was in order - perfectly clean and attractive in a Spartan sort of way. Comfortable bed and everything worked including WiFi, climate control and all bathroom fixtures. Lots of restaurants nearby - locals in one direction, chains in the other direction surrounding the mall. We had a quiet, comfortable night's sleep, slid our keys through the night window in the morning, and went on our way. And at a very reasonable price for a Saturday in this area.

With some flaws the hotel is acceptable. For 10 dollars more you can find a better place with a lot more amenities. Customers service talking tried to help but need polishing. Room was acceptably clean however, they are really basic
