Super 8 by Wyndham Plainview

I stayed at the Super 8 in Plainview, Texas, and was very disappointed. The hotel is rundown and not well maintained. My room was dirty - stained sheets, brown towels, and a bathroom that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. They didn't have basic items like toothpaste, and the "continental breakfast" was just watery coffee and cereal - no eggs, bacon, or sausage. The Wi-Fi was also extremely poor, making it impossible to get work done. Overall, this hotel needs major improvements in cleanliness, service, and guest care. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because right now it's not a place I would recommend.

The super 8 in Plainview was comfortable and convenient to local merchants. The rooms are good and the mattresses was comfortable. Will stay again.

Super 8's aren't consistent from one location to another. The room rate was good. The room was clean and had no issues other than there not being nearly enough outlets near the bed. Room was clean. There was plenty of hot water along with great water pressure. Public areas are dated and dingy. The breakfast offering was packaged items, weak coffee and really not worth coming down for. If you don't need a pool, or expect a good breakfast in the morning, and are there to just stacy one night, it's fine.

Entrance was difficult to find. Staff are friendly. Building is dated. Room is fairly clean. Can’t get TV to work. Plenty of fast food options nearby. Right off the highway which makes it convenient.

My cat got stuck in the wall because there was a hole. They told us to leave and my cat is still in there. We haven’t been able to get half off or anything. We also cannot afford another room so we have to leave him.

Needs some updating! Or little items attended to! Hot water was great! Staff was excellent!
