My stay was great, the hotels location was about 15 mins from Tenerife south Airport by taxi which was quite convenient. Hotel was lovely, pool was lovely

We loved this hotel. The staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. The rooms are a decent size and were cleaned every day. The food was excellent, some of it buffet style and some freshly cooked in front of you. Food is labelled with allergens and as someone who can't have gluten or dairy i had no problem finding something to eat. We were all inclusive and we enjoyed everything about it. For me, the resort itself was quite busy but we were far enough not to hear anything. We loved the fact that it was an adults only hotel. The animation team were excellent but they didn't bother you if you didn't want to take part. We would not hesitate to return. We went with Jet 2 but we opted for a taxi instead of a transfer and it was about €30 each way.

Absolutely amazing. The architecture was beautiful and modern with exotic plants and open spaces. Staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Large swimming pool with bridges to lead to an island in the middle of the pool (very deep!). Rooms were clean and well appointed - enormous bed but made it feel a bit cramped. Entertainment was provided by singers performing every night (til 11pm so hard to sleep before then if room above). Nice child’s room with a trampoline, table football and air hockey. Upgraded to the preferred club option which gives access to a lounge with free drinks and snacks from 1.30-7pm which we used instead of lunch! Good breakfast buffet. Only used the evening buffet once, was reasonable but not amazing. Some of the other onsite restaurants didn’t appear to have been open all week. The position was outstanding as many good restaurants were nearby and beaches with water sports only down the road. 10/10 would definitely recommend and visit again!

The hotel has a great bed. Kitchen with household appliances. but the best the jacuzzi q is very big. the pool is also very good. Breakfast was 10€ separate, and I thought it was okay. Generally Recommended.
The only thing we didn't like was that we left a bag with clothes and instead of calling to warn her to get out of the bag and there was no way to recover all the contents of xq was already mixed with other things

The restaurant has been renamed and revamped. The gym is brilliant and the air conditioning was very welcome by the end of my workout. The wicker furniture on the Ocean Breeze Terrace needs replacing but does not detract from the overall experience. Some of the entertainment on the Ocean Breeze leaves a lot to be desired as mentioned by a lot of our family and friends. The gardens were the perfect place to hold our Vow Renewal Ceremony and the staff were utterly brilliant, friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our Vow Renewal or a better holiday. Many of our guests were crying when they had to go home. The pool is inviting and the pool activities were great to watch and take part in.

My Mum and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights as part of her birthday celebration and it was perfect! The rooms are so comfortable and the bedding is sublime! The team who work there are so fantastic - nothing is too much trouble and ever so helpful. There are beautiful towels by the pool which don’t slip down and you get two as standard so not everything is wet when you get out! There is even suncream at the pool so you don’t have to bring your own! Wifi is brilliant throughout the hotel. Cocktails are beautiful, about 17-18 euros each but worth every penny! Absolutely delicious. My only criticism was the lack of food choices in the hotel by the pool - not a huge amount to choose from, very fish based (I don’t eat fish) and the service was a little slow for drinks but that could be the time of year. But there was fabulous popcorn cones and fruit kebabs which were shared in the morning which was great. When planning you’re trip, just be aware that there is nothing around without a taxi from this hotel - there’s some lovely local places nearby but you will need to get in a taxi. The beach area is incredibly well set up - the little train takes you there, there’s a full bar and restaurant, toilets, suncream and sun loungers. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel for sure - would be even better once the refurbishments are done and there are a few more pools and the restaurant with a view is open again! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Central location at the end of the main streets and on the beach, spacious, great layout offering privacy, peace and tranquility. Pool area welcoming, matrasses on the beds, towel exchange, umbrellas, tables and the layout felt you had a private area to yourselves, unlike other 5 star hotels in TFS where you hear folks snoring/talking in the next beds. The hotel was busy but no-where seemed over crowed, with loads of layers and private areas to cool off in. Bar staff great and drinks fairly priced, no pre-mix cocktails which was a pleasant surprise. Room was comfortable, we opted for sea view double, it was bigger than expected with a good size balcony with decent chairs and table, perfect pool and sea view. Best aircon I've experienced in TFS hotels. Massive comfy bed, best pillows ever and chocolates everyday. Coffee machine, water and fridge. Huge bathroom, finished to a high standard, many quality towels that were changed regularly, great toiletries and powerful hairdryer. The hotel is immaculate, staff are friendly and attentive, we loved the uniforms, staff always smiling. The breakfast offers a great choice in a relaxed atmosphere. Reception staff friendly and helpful, organized a late checkout room which was really appreciated, check in/out efficient but not rushed, we were made to feel welcome. Can't wit to return.

Location location location! Enjoyed being walking distance to everything and the noise isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. We had a room on the inside of the hotel and we found no problem with the noise from local bars nor the construction which is currently being carried out. (Although blatant during the day when by the pool) Loved staying here and found the beach front a quiet spot to eat and enjoyed walking to the other resorts (only 25 mins along a scenic beach route) to see different sides to Tenerife. The reception team couldn’t be more helpful and we booked Siam Park and our taxi back through them. - They even arranged a breakfast basket for us as with our return flight we wouldn’t have been able to go down to breakfast. Hotel itself is clean and well presented. The room had a Mini fridge (which we emptied and put our own things in there) and basic tea/coffee facilities. The hotel could provide pool towels with a refundable deposit and the hotel has generic shampoo/shower gel. Pool bar shows live sports but dependent on what other guests are also looking to watch but they don’t put the sound on as the pool plays music which does get louder on Friday/saturday. Only criticisms would be the reservation of sunbeds which is a hard thing to control and I’d love to be able to book a room only rate as the breakfast was chaotic and finished at 10:30. Overall if I returned to Tenerife I would book this hotel again and the reviews of the resort are exaggerated in terms of noise and drunken behaviour.

Just waiting for our coach back home after a wonderful stay at the Gran Oasis. We visited as a group of 17 ages ranging from 11 to 73. Ideal hotel for a family with a lovely pool seen and lots of activities going on throughout the day, we especially enjoyed the aqua aerobics. The rooms at the hotel are fantastic with ample space and cleaned every day by the hard working staff. Good variety of food with themed evenings every night, even the fussiest of eaters can find something to eat, again the staff working tirelessly to keep the restaurant clean and feed the hungry guests. One of our party had an issue with the room losing the electric, the management were quick to sort the issue and offer a new room and an upgrade to the premium package for the inconvenience, which we thought was very fair and excellent customer service. Although the hotel was around a 20-25 minute walk to shops and bars the views from the hotel are spectacular and taxis made it easy to get into las Americas and los Cristianos. We would highly recommend las vistas beach and the sunbeds were very reasonable. All in all we have all had a very enjoyable holiday and are sad to be leaving. Thank you Gran Oasis.

GGuest UserIt's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe.
So here's what I experienced on this reservation:-
Positives
1.Check in / out process fast and professional.
2.Direct beach access via the pool area.
3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent.
4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good.
Negatives
1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required
solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm
in dia).
Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed.
2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within
the remote control.
3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once
housekeeping cleaned the room.
4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed.
5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to
exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room.
General Travel Tips.
1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way.
2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££).
3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off
the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

Very Good
La Siesta isa beautiful hotel with the full range of services. Starting with the rooms, they are spacious, clean and comfortable. Maid service daily. Beds are beautifully comfortable. Poolside is clean and safe. I mention that to bust the myths of other reviewers who talk about our being dirty and slippy. Cleaning a poolside is a bit of a work in progress and there will be be some water unless they follow behind you with a cloth to catch the drips! Pool bar might be a tad pricey but the service is fun and friendly. Where does Ramon get all his energy from? He is attentive, sociable and a good laugh. Evening entertainment bar is also top notch with a special shout to Vicente who had to endure my dreadful cosmic, poor chap! Whilst were at the pool... let's dispel another myth. There are NOT extra charges for pool towels. Just a refundable deposit. Some reviewers seem to make it up as they go along. Children were not the remotest issue, even for us as eight adults. The kids club kept them fully occupied and entertained. Breakfast was a bit of a let down I'm afraid. I get that it's a heel of a job to cater for hundreds at a time, especially with hot food, but i have to say it as I see it and we only ate in the hotel about four days out of the ten.

GGuest UserWe were here September 2023 & we really enjoyed it we returned this June 2024. A couple of the previous animation team have sadly left Victor & Mica but Javi & the 3 new girls Marta, Laura & Yumi were brilliant. We had a great time with them. On arrival we had a bit of a wait to check in, must admit they still dont have enough staff on reception, same as last year. We were finally checked in by a very welcoming Nicole. She gave us all the detailed info for the All Inclusive package. We had HB last year. Also our room was ready which was great. Room 101 with a Seaview. Room was very nice, small but fine. Great view of pool & sea. Only ****** was everytime we showered (daily) it flooded the bathroom floor. Just a bad fitting seal. We mentioned it to reception when we checked out so hopefully they will sort it. We just got on with with it but to other guests they may complain. We hired the safe. Makes me laugh about comments on money going missing etc. Hire the safe!!! Simples, yes you have to pay but for the amount it's a no brainer!!! You get the deposit back. Food this year I felt had slightly gone downhill. Choice & quality not as good in my opinion. The restaurant & pool bar staff were great as usual. Evening entertainment was good although for June there were alot of young children running about, over the equipment being set up for some of the shows & the parents doing nothing!!! Seemed left to the animation team to calm them down!! Not on. Parents take responsibility for your own kids! I'm sure they'd have something to say if they hurt themselves. Location of the hotel is great. Everything you want in a stones throw. Again makes me laugh when people say it's over a loud bar. Dont people do their research before they go?! GGuest UserI loved this hotel. Me and my boyfriend decided to go on a short holiday in half term and chose this hotel as it was relatively cheap whilst also being quite central in playa las americas. When we arrived the hotel is very clean. We got to our room and we had been given a double family room for the 2 of us. i didn’t book this so this was a nice surprise as we had a double balcony which looked over the sea and we could see the sunset. The bathroom was lovely and the rooms were very clean with huge beds, cleaned every day to a perfect standard. In the morning we had a buffet breakfast which was extensive and filled us up, the dinner buffet was also really nice and changed every night with fresh food also being made in front of you. The pool side had lots of chairs and we never struggled to get a seat, the pool was nice and a nice temperature. There was a bar near the pool with crisps and drinks and on the last day there was a pool party with music and rubber dingies which we both loved as it was some entertainment. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main bars and we managed to walk to many different areas with no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it

We are on the last day of our 10 day stay in the Hotel Gala. It caters for families, young adults and retirees (us); from many different countries and backgrounds. The hotel is spotless and tries to have something for everyone. It is in a very central location with a wide range of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby. Most staff are friendly and helpful, though some restaurant staff appeared to be under pressure. The facilities at the hotel are excellent and we really couldn't fault them. We intended to try the spa, but got sidetracked with beach massages. The evening food was not really to our liking, but hey, they had a lot of different nationalities to try and please. Instead we eat out most evenings and sometimes had lunch in the hotel. The evening entertainment far exceeded our expectations, so much so that we returned to watch it many evenings. (Normally, when we eat out, we stay out.) Our only issue was that the evening bar service could be very slow. Hotel Gala is in one of the most lively areas of the Canary Islands. It attracts a wide range of clientele and makes a good effort to cater for them all. If you're looking for a quiet holiday, with no noise or distractions, maybe it's not for you. If you're open to holidaying with many nationalities, with a friendly vibe ; why not give it a go?

Was a bit dubious when arriving at this hotel with my friend due to reading quite a few negative reviews, however, very pleasantly surprised! Staff were lovely, check in went smoothly and yes the rooms are a bit ‘tired’ but spotlessly clean with no bugs! Location is perfect, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and of course the sea more than enough pools - probably my only criticism was that there’s not enough sunbeds and if you are lucky to get a bed it’s probably because you woke up at the crack of dawn to put your towel on one! The hotel isn’t the quietest but it’s right by Veronica’s so if you’re looking for a peaceful hotel then bypass this one!(didn’t actually bother us at all as we knew what we were letting ourselves in for) We only booked for breakfast so unable to comment on any other meal times but a lot of food choice and plenty of seating. Thanks to all the staff at the Sol for making our week a good one….will definitely return!
