Coral California - Adults Only

Had a lovely week stay! The hotel location is perfect & the main advantage to it, it’s so close to everything and so handy to get around Tenerife from the location The room was lovely & spacious but there was a few bugs & was quite warm on an evening without air con but nothing unbearable at all It can be quite noisy on an evening with all the surrounding bars & hotel but nothing too bad you couldn’t sleep through Would highly recommend for a basic hotel with everything you need & a great location, the prices are really reasonable for drinks & food too if you fancy anything there!

We stayed here sept 23 and loved it. Booked for July 24...what a big disappointment !! Adults only...joke...more like 18-30. The language from young adults around pool was disgusting..im no prude but i was cringing...had to buy some earphones to sun bathe. Lovely room,great cleaner. We asked to keep room on as we had a late flight. My partner went and asked reception,lady didnt even ask our room number and said NO...long day hanging round in the heat. Only interested in making money not looking after guests. Location is good but would nir return or recommend.

Stayed here 7th-14th of August and I would definitely stay again. It had everything I needed accept air con but it didn’t spoil my stay as fan worked fine. Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was very well equipped and shower was very powerful. Beds were comfortable too. I didn’t eat here so I cannot comment but pool area was nice plenty of beds and sunshine pool was clean. Hotel is in a brilliant location If you’re looking to spend a lot if time in your hotel (not sure why) and looking for luxury then this is not for you. If you want a clean comfortable and convenient place to sleep and get ready for your day and night this is perfect.

If you value your safety, do not book this hotel! Me and my friend (2 young girls) booked this hotel through EasyJet - which was advised as a 4 star. We were given room 207, which was a studio with a pool view which we paid for. However 3 days into the holiday, we returned from a day trip to find our room had no electricity. Upon speaking to reception, we were told this required an external company to fix the issue and they did not know when this would be fixed. We were moved to a room which was an “annex” - without a pool view. The lady at the desk, who I appreciate can only do so much, was very dismissive and could not understand our concerns that we had paid extra for a pool view but not been given this. It was only when we pointed this out, she offered us complimentary breakfast. I cannot even eat this as I cannot eat Gluten so this is not suitable for my dietary requirements hence why we did not book breakfast. We then had to move all of our belongings to this new room, which has no lift facility and our bags were super heavy. I also have a problem with my back so this was extremely concerning for me. The hotel was absolutely filthy - stains in the bathroom etc, no air con, just a mediocre fan which doesn’t work well. We also had a note on the balcony door saying to use a wooden rod to ensure the door would lock. This is not safe and causing us serious distress! We asked to speak to a manager at the sister hotel - Coral Suites and Spa - who was “busy” and could only speak to us tomorrow. Again, very dismissive and horrific customer service.

No air conditioning in the rooms wich make then almost unbareable to stay in. Rooms are clean and tidy tho. Beds are not great and are two singles instead of one double. Windows in bathroom give you little privacy when showering. Lication not bad

OMG if your looking for an adults only hotel with a bit of class and relaxation then look elsewhere... this felt more like an 18-25yrs holiday camp! advertised on EasyJet as 4star it most definitely isn't and just seen is classed as 2 star... even that is generous. yes rooms were clean and modern apart from some ants in the kitchen that we quickly rectified, the kitchen wasn't cleaned properly from previous guests so once we cleaned we didn't have an issue. no air con, but you have a ceiling fan that if you wish cold air you'll need to listen to the clink clink clink of the cord hitting of the fan or ceiling!! no glass at poolside for H&S.. fab!! but that doesn't include the young team, staff don't want to challenge as it causes a fuss... so rules for decent guests and another set of rules for the young ones! The noise of music from around 8pm-1130pm before they went out wasn't an issue i get it we are on holiday.... but to stagger home, back out on balcony and tunes blaring from around 3am-8am is just not on!! adults only hotel so no inflatables or balls in pool and no music at poolside... boring!! think the lifeguard on duty just wanted to have his nose in his phone for the full shift, pick up a few plastic tumblers and have an easy day... in this pool you were only allowed to get wet! some of the cleaning staff were pleasant, night porter not so much, maintenance man helpful and pleasant but the lady behind the bar/food area ooft don't cross her... no problem with getting a sunbed they had plenty as not many stayed around a pool all day with no music or fun allowed, pool doesn't open till 10am 10 days too long and i wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights at the start of July, to begin with the fan in the room (“aircon”) was dangerous - barely hanging onto the ceiling and was advised to “just don’t use it”… then came the cockroaches in the kitchen and the bathroom - we were handed a spray and told to get rid of them ourselves… then came the bedbugs. We found an adult bed bug in our first room before going to bed, when reception was told we were told the man on shift that night was just security and we had to go back the next morning to speak to the hotel staff, so after a sleepless night in the room we were then moved to a new room. The new room was just as bad if not worse, dirty sheets, holes in the covers, dirt and mud just brushed under the beds. Since now being home for 5 weeks, I have now found bed bugs in my own room (despite following all guidance) and have over £1000 to fork out to get rid of them. Long story short, avoid this disgusting hotel at ALL costs!
