H10 Conquistador

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel and great range of fresh food in the all inclusive restaurant. Also made use of the steak and Italian restaurants with the Senses Africa dinner show - all fab. Only downsides are it’s not very disabled friendly to get out to the beach - had to walk out the front and round the hotel and only steps to get out the hotel gate next to the beach (using a wrist band fob which was very handy and to get into the room!). Would also have liked air con to be in the lifts as they were very stuffy when in there and took a while to get to your floor and when they did they still took you the opposite direction to where you wanted to go if someone else pressed a button on another floor. Very comfy rooms and looked super clean on the outside but little details were missed such as poop mark on the side of the toilet etc - easy to miss though but attention to detail was a thing I noticed. Pools were lovely and clean and the toddler pool was nice and warm (quite chloriney though). Entertainment in the evening was good and great bar staff. Close to the beach and plenty to do in the area. Overall very good holiday and fab hotel (albeit some points going against - sorry!)

Brilliant hotel I would highly recommend this hotel We visited at the end of August and had a fantastic stay All the staff from reception, waiters and bar staff made us feel very welcome. Great food and pool. The entertainment team are just the best Room: clean and spacious enough for 3 of us (inc a teen) and we seamlessly upgraded to a sea view room. Aircon wasn’t the best but w made the room comfortable enough Food: fab buffet, better than many other hotels we have stayed at in recent years. Lots of variety. Drinks: reasonably priced (we did half board) and enough variety to keep us in the hotel more often than not Pool: lovely big deep clean pool. Just enough loungers albeit they were pretty much gone after 9:30am most days. Location: just a few minutes walk from the main ***** and next to the sea Staff: all should be commended for great service and welcoming attitudes. Overall really enjoyed our stay and will be back

Just nearing the end of our 2nd visit to the beautiful hotel. Perfectly situated 2mins to the beach and beautiful promenade and shops. The hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly clean, staff are very helpful and cannot do enough for you. The animation team are amazing, very friendly and make you feel very welcome, special mention to Max, Lynn, Marta, Irean both Javis. Entertainment has been fantastic, some amazing acts and varied each night. Plenty of activities during the day around the beautiful pool area. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be booking again next year.

I have visited this hotel on 2 occasions before and this time we were placed in room 278 which was beautiful and overlooked the privilege pool and promenade. Really recommend this room. Our cleaner was fantastic too - however the hallways could be hoovered and cleaned more as there was glass seen 3 times in the week we were there. We did also have cockroaches the first night which meant we were paranoid the whole week. The food was fantastic and a good selection of choice. My children loved the fresh pasta each day and the pancake station. Lyn was fantastic each day doing aqua fit and my children absolutely loved joining in. The downfall of this hotel is the sun beds and the rush for them each morning. There is clearly not enough beds for the main pool and plenty of spare beds in the privileged area. I wouldn’t return to this hotel anymore as I don’t want to be getting up early to put towels on the beds. I go on holiday to relax, enjoy a lie in, lounge at the pool and this actually spoilt the holiday. Another downfall was the rudeness of the reception staff on the last day. My son had been sick the day before we were due to go home. I asked at reception could we keep our room until 4.30pm on the day of checkout and it was agreed that I was to pay €50. The next morning, I phoned to check how I should pay the €50 to be told this wasn’t an option now and I’d need to vacate the room at 12. I was then rushing around trying to get everything sorted as-well as look after my son. Reception phoned at 12.15 and told me I needed to leave. I then asked for a shower room which was granted for 3.20pm. We went in at 3.25pm to find dirty towels all over the bathroom floor and no fresh ones. I rang reception and they said they would bring some along. I only had 30 minutes in the shower room (there was 4 of us) 15 minutes went by and the towels arrived. I then received a call from Reception saying I should be leaving the room, my time was up. We hadn’t been showered because of the towels and the Reception knew this. I was sorting my 2 young children out, 1 of whom had been so unwell. The staff at Reception were extremely rude and unfortunately this has tarnished my view on this hotel. As a H10 member and a regular visitor to H10 hotels I was mortified. I won’t be returning to conquistador unfortunately.

This hotel is the best! I can not complain about anything! The hotel was immaculate, food amazing with so much choice and all delicious. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Location is perfect with a door to the beach and restaurants surrounding. The pool area clean and enjoyable, even though many guests rush to put towels out early, we were able to find sun loungers when we wanted. Reception staff helpful at all times. We will be visiting here again for sure!

Great experience with this hotel in Tenerife. Position, food, pools, stuff. But the congratulation are going to the entertainment team from the exterior pool, for all the games, professionalism and attention for the kids, especially!!! Good work!
