Nura Boreal Reviews

I stayed at the Nura Boreal hotel from 5 to 19 August. Unfortunately the stay was anything but relaxing and pleasant. There are 2 main reasons: 1 - The area is a kind of "German Ghetto", because of the Mega Park the people are already drunk at 4 in the afternoon and staggering through the streets, I'll leave you to imagine in what conditions they could return at 4 /5 in the morning (noise, uproar and shouting). Let's say that the hotel is not to blame for this but it is still advice I give you to avoid the area. 2 - What I would like to underline most is the total lack of respect of the cleaning staff who during EVERY morning around 8:30/9:00, regardless of the customers who are sleeping or who would like to relax, move the beds (without felt pads ) making a noise that would wake up even an elephant (and I'm not a light sleeper) going on for half an hour/an hour throughout the entire floor, therefore not being able to sleep in any way (you can understand the mix between the Germans at dawn and cleaning at 8:30/9:00 in the morning, fantastic!) We pointed out this situation with a smile in the first two days of the holiday with the response "we're sorry, we'll let the staff know" but for the next 10 DAYS nothing has ever changed, we asked for the possibility of speaking to the director to find a solution but NOTHING, the director never wanted to speak with us despite multiple requests and had no intention of finding a solution, demonstrating indifference and total IRRESPONSIBILITY'. Our last attempt was to write him a letter of complaint, but we don't think he will take it into consideration, at least we did what we could. Last but not least, changing the linen always had some problems, once the sheet was dirty as if it had been stepped on, once the towel with stains, this was also mentioned in the first few days and always with a smile, in fact the cleaning ladies they blamed the hotel, while the hotel blamed the cleaning lady, ergo, nothing happened, you had to hope every day that things were clean as normal should otherwise be forced to ask for a change. I give a positive note to Pedro, a receptionist who in recent days has tried to help us in some way and to come to our aid by offering us a few cans of Coca/Fanta to apologise, but the director's total lack of interest in us has made the your help, thanks anyway for the gesture, certainly appreciated! :) Unfortunately, the change of director in recent months has totally downgraded this hotel, I highly recommend staying elsewhere and in another area of ​​the island which certainly deserves to be visited. In our small way we contributed by making a claim for "consumption (tourism)".
