Best Hotels near Public beach, Playa Del Carmen

Great location. Rooms are clean and big. Rooftop pool is great place to relax. There is a grocery store below hotel and it the best. Grocery store has hot food and tons of breads and pastries. Hotel is one street from 5th ave. Staff was friendly. Will be come back.

-when you advertise parking in the facilities means you have a proper parking. What they had was a street parking and unless you find that single spot outside the hotel, which it’s covered by the camera, then your car isn’t safe. -The location was not walking distance to downtown with shops and restaurants so unless you have a car be prepared to walk 3-4kms. -On the check in we were asked to give our credit card details in case of any damage. Although states that you need a Credit Card, there was no guarantee of not charging you anything later as it was nowhere written in a paper or anything. You just have to give your card number and details. -On first afternoon I explained to the lady that our room is extremely noisy and we need to rest as recovering from illness and she just waived her head with irony and no solution. Eventually we were offered another room, on the same floor, so same noise, for 500MX extra. Her attitude was unacceptable. -The bed in our room was broken. It was leaning on the side and made it very uncomfortable to sleep or even sit down. -On booking I received 8 emails!!! And 2 WhatsApp messages stating to reply to the message in case we need something. When I messaged them saying we have not been able to sleep till 1am due to noise and we were waking up at 5:3am, nobody reply, nor even bothered to open the messages. -the neighbour feels very unsafe and dodgy.

I made a reservation for my family while they were visiting Mexico and on the email it stated that they would have until 3 am to check in. They were at a wedding in another town and could not check in until later because of the distance. Since it was already midnight and they knew they were an hour away they called the hotel numerous times because Wyndham states that you can make special arrangements with the hotel directly if you plan to check in late. No one ever answered! No big deal they will be there before 3am. They ended up getting a flat tire and it took forever to get help to fix it. Again, visiting from another Country. No one ever answered the front desk again. I called Wyndham directly and they tried calling…no one answered. My family gets there at 3:10am and are turned away and refused! Again, reservations already made for 2 rooms. They have been through a lot and stuck. The reservation department said they could not help me but to call in the morning and speak to Wyndham customer service directly. Ok, but what about my family? Luckily they found a nearby random hotel and just checked in. They have an elderly lady with them with health issues and had to deal with someone that first off never even answered at the front desk at all from 12am-3am. Not even when Wyndham reservations called. I’m sure this place is nice but I’m just annoyed because I’ve been to enough hotels all over the place to know that accommodations can be made. I’m just going to stick to Hiltons.

My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). In contrast, Q Hotel has a feeling of being at home, the waiters are more happy and easy-going, the drinks are open for drinking, the buffet is fresh and varied, and there is basically no need to wait for a table. You can eat big lobster and oysters on Christmas Day, without being stingy at all. In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! I ordered sashimi without wasabi, the waiter said sorry, there is no wasabi today, I will soak ginger slices for you instead of wasabi Activity: It is very convenient to go to the park under Xcaret, every 20 minutes. The hotel has a free drop-off service, you need to make an appointment one day in advance

Large complex with several pools and dining options, though some amenities not available due to covid. Generally helpful and kind staff, one gentleman at the concierge wasn't the best but the manager was great! The beach had lots of space, places to sit and staff available for beverage service. Overall a nice place to stay!

highly recommend this place.. right in the heart of playa.. and the stuff give you the best welcome .. sweet and give you awesomei nformation about the rivira maya, bit of a shame i didnt get to feel the vibes as they going to open the bar starting next week and ill be in blizz good luck youll have fun here
