During my recent stay at the Residence City Garden in Plovdiv, I had the opportunity to experience the Presidential Suite. While the suite boasted a comfortable bed and stylishly appointed bathrooms that enhanced the room's luxury feel, there were noticeable issues that impacted the overall experience.
Firstly, the absence of a hairdryer was a minor inconvenience that could be easily overlooked if not for other shortcomings. The minibar, unfortunately, failed to keep its contents cold, which was a disappointment.
Additionally, although the bathrooms were generally nice, they occasionally emitted a sewage smell that was quite off-putting.
The hotel itself seemed underpopulated during my stay, which might appeal to those seeking a quieter environment but could also detract from the vibrancy often enjoyed at busier establishments. As for the breakfast, I would advise future guests to steer clear of the Bulgarian option as it did not meet expectations and left much to be desired.
In conclusion, while the Residence City Garden has the potential to offer a pleasant stay with its serene location near Tsar Simeon Garden and stylish accommodations, some aspects of the service and amenities, like the breakfast and functional issues within the suite, need attention to truly reflect the luxury it promises.
