My friend told me that the hotel is clean, hygienic, convenient and satisfied in every way. It is worth recommending

The hotel Gala is in fact the depandance of the hotel San Antonio that looks at the sea while the Gala is located between the San Antonio and the street. So the photos you see are of the hotel San Antonio. The check in is made at the hotel Antonio . When you enter the entrance of the Gala hotel, you feel a strong smell that I found linked to the smells of the washing machine under the hotel. When you open the window, you find things thrown from the hotel as if it was a discharge. The room was spacious, but had a third bed in a bed sofa that occupied all the room of manoeuvre and had a destroyed sofa, with broken dogs and unable to sleep on the opening side. tends and some tents are also bucked (not certainly by 4 stars). The swimming pool at the latest floor of San Antonio is ”dismissed” . All disorder, smell and dirt everywhere. Breakfast is enough . The only positive point was the kindness in checking in by the boy who spoke Italian. I couldn't change hotels for the rest, because they were all full in the area, but I would certainly not advise it unless it was restructured.

Before arriving, I read reviews of this hotel. Many 1 star ratings with confusing reviews. When we arrived, the reception area is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the sea. There is also a bar and restaurant downstairs. We were on the second floor and there were stains on the carpet in the hallway, but that didn’t affect my hotel room. We walked in the hotel room and it was clean, brand new and spacious. The bathroom was so clean and big. The only criticism of the bathroom is that it doesn’t have an electrical outlet. The room had lots of storage and was well planned. The hotel is about 20 minutes from old town Split so we ate dinner in the hotel. We also had breakfast there. The food was great! Don’t be scared off from the one star reviews!

It is a good option for you if you drive since the hotel is located 15 minutes from Split old town. It is a fair distance to drive to the centre. The hotel is new and clean with a modern interior design of the room which makes it pleasant to stay. The well design of the hotel room makes it feel spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is relatively simple with not much choice but that does not bother us since Split has many great restaurants out there waiting for us. Overall, I am satisfied with this stay and would recommend this hotel since it is clean and beautiful.

My husband and I had a perfect stay here as part of our 20th anniversary trip. The property was charming and spotless, the room large and quiet, the shower wonderful, and breakfast in the garden patio was delicious. The owners and staff are kind and helpful. They arranged parking in a paid secure lot for us ahead of time and even met us there with the keycard. It was above and beyond what I expected. I appreciated the eco-nature of the hotel: automatic lights in the hallways and stairs as well as selecting breakfast options the night before so no food would be wasted. Our made-to-order food came out hot and delicious. Having the ability to truly control the room's temperature is often rare in our European travels, and was greatly appreciated. It makes such a difference for sleep. The pedestrian street is a quick walk that leads directly to the Silver Gate of Diocletian's palace. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

What an excellent hotel. From the moment we arrived you knew this was going to be a fantastic stay. The staff make this place what it is. Always helpful and polite. The hotel is also so clean never anything out of place. We had a deluxe room on the 9th floor which had beautiful views and everything we could wish for. Very spacious, twin sinks, separate bath and shower. However there is a glass wall separating the bathroom to the bedroom but there is a curtain if you wish to make it more private. The pool area was superb with plenty of sun beds and comfy sofas. The best bit was the buzzer on each table so you didn’t even have to go to the bar to get your own drinks. The waiting staff also were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and you certainly felt well looked after. One slight disappointment was the location. A 2 mile, 40 minute walk into Omis which was doable. However the buses do run twice an hour and with the Promet Split app, tickets only cost €1.25 and you can track the bus on its route. You can also travel to Split which can take about an hour for €1.50. Also the hotel is situated on the main costal road which at times is busy but there is a crossing outside the hotel. To get to the beach bar you cross the road and have to go through a camp site which isn’t the best. The beach bar was in a great spot though, however on a couple of occasions we were the last ones there and despite closing at 8.00 pm, by 7.30 pm, we were asked for our cushions, in other words, ‘please go’. The food was superb at breakfast there was plenty of choice. We ate a few times in the evening taking advantage of the buffet at €26, on one evening, which was excellent but in some ways too much choice and you end up with a bit of mess on your plate. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant where there is little outside space, only a narrow terrace which overlooks the road. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay, there are a few good restaurants nearby and more of a choice in Omis. I would throughly recommend the hotel and if you don’t mind taking the bus then the location will suit you too.
