Think before booking. We were in room 16 and it was very loud. Walls are paper thin and we could hear the washing machine running constantly. We also did not have cleaning service, and when I asked that evening, I was told to “speak with the owner.” We had no fresh towels, and when I asked for those, the desk told me I’d have to wait, as he was the only one working that afternoon. Room was furnished nicely, but it was just way too loud and not at all “friendly.” You can do better for that distance from beach/boardwalk.

I reserve two rooms for myself and my family member. The accommodations was just perfect for our needs. again, this was a January booking so it was very cold in the point Beach but that’s expected at this time of the year. Office members were very pleasant and courteous. The cleanliness of the rooms were comfortable beds hot water. It’s close to town. We can go local shopping and local restaurants in the area, overall we were very satisfied with our visit. We stayed three days.

I would highly recommend Sand Pebble for anyone planning a stay in Point Pleasant off season. Easy to get to. A block from the boardwalk and beach. Can easily access rts 34 and 35 to go exploring nearby towns and state parks. Down side is limitation to 1 car per room. However understandable for size of parking lot. Street parking appeared to be available in residential area.

Room was stark, barren with no comfort. Beds were cots. Bathroom was minimal and lacked space. Very disappointing stay. Would never recommend this motor lodge to anyone. Sorry I booked it through *******. Not worth the $185 I paid for the night.
