The hotel is right next to Fewa Lake. When the weather is good, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance from the balcony. The front desk helped to change the room type and the service attitude was very good.

Quite satisfied. It's not in the core area, but it's not far from the lake. The hotel has various booking agencies and the price is right. There's no need to compare prices. There is still a sense of service. All expenses can be settled after check-out. As a result, when I took the bus to Surumbini in the morning, a staff member on duty asked me to put down the key and leave. Of course, I paid the bill in the end. I felt that they were very negligent. This was not a loss in business. ?

Although the hotel is old, it has everything it needs. The rooms are not too small and there is a balcony. When the weather is good, you can see the Fishtail Peak. The price/performance ratio is very good.

The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly . The rooms are clean and properly arranged and the view of Fewa Lake and Annapurna mountain range from the rooftop was spectacular. Breakfast was nice and fulfilling for the day. Would Recommend for people visiting Lakeside, Pokhara

Good location. Great service. Friendly staff. Clean room and a balcony with a view of the mountains. Good breakfast. Our hike was organised by Sanjog before we travelled. He didnt ask any deposit until we arrived. He was extremely polite and helpful. Treated us like his family. Exchanged currency with good rates. Organised trips for us with good rates (need some bargainning). Sanjog went out of the way to make our stay a happy one.

Fantastic stay at hotel Lake shore- Pokhara. Staffs are so so helpful specially Mr. Sanjog (manager) and girl in front desk as well. Clean room, clean towels. Situated in good location and near by everything. Only issue is no lift in this hotel.

This hotel is strategically located in the LakeView area. In front is just a walking distance to see the lake and behind you’d see the beautiful Annapurna Range. Restaurants, souvenir shops, money changer is just around the area. Walking distance in fact. 5-10 minutes you’re in the heart of the tourist area. The English Breakfast is sumptous and ok for me. May need to work on the deep fried sausages though. The room is ok for me as well. Kinda small but it’s ok for a solo traveller. I stayed in 302 and you’d get to see a good view of the Lake and the Annapurna Range. See photos and video for reference. Wifi is strong as well and stable. Heater is working and there’s a bidet !!! And one tip for the travellers, if you want a daily supply of the 2 bottled waters and coffee and tea, just put the ‘Clean My Room’ on the door. It saved me around 20-50 rupees. :) Sanjog the manager is hands on with the customers. He talks to us by our names and greets me everytime he sees me on the premises. He’s also the one who picked me up at the bus station. I originally stayed here from Nov 23-26 but decided to extend to Nov 28 since I fell in love with Pokhara. :) Some things to condider though before booking this hotel. There are no elevators or lift. If you have mobility issues, this might be a problem especially going upstairs to your room. The bathroo may need to be cleaned thourough as there’s mold and mildew building up on the side corners. If you’re a germ freak, it might turn you off. All in all, it was a very memorable and pleasurable to stay in Pokhara.

This hotel is in the perfect spot. Just off the busy street, quiet, super comfortable, affordable, the breakfast is amazing, the staff are fantastic. Everything from the brilliant reception, the clean and well thought out design of the hotel and rooms, the comfy beds, the exceptional service and help from the staff when booking transfers and recommendations etc. The hotel is brilliant and we cannot wait to go visit again. Special thanks to Sanjog the manager, his awesome uncle that dropped us at the airport, the staff who are brilliant, and for sorting out all our extra travel arrangements.

Lakeshore was everything we hoped our hotel would be . We cannot recommend it more highly ! The hotel was the best of several in which we stayed in Nepal. The staff were welcoming, especially Sanjog the manager , he is professional, responsive and very competent. The rooms were clean and air conditioned (with various services like laundry and Wi-Fi), and the team were very attentive overall. We were a group of two , hiking in the Pokhara region, and on arrival Sanjog was so helpful in many ways. He even arranged a guide for our trek when we realised that we needed one. He alone was worth the cost , the hotel owner is lucky to have him ! The other staff were kind, and helpful too, and the cost of our stay was great value for money. In fact , we liked the Lakeshore Hotel so much that we decided to stay longer in Pokhara. We would definitely go back and no question, we will stay at Lakeshore again . Thanks for some great memories Lakeshore and Sanjog especially ! John and Ian .

Lovely and peaceful place in front of the lake. Amazing location to enjoy Pokhara in great style. After a long time trekking I needed a place to spend my last days in Pokhara, I looked for a well located place by the lake but peaceful, where i could sleep well at night and have nice meals. Hotel Lake Shore was the best choice, I was not sure so I only booked one night at first, the I was super happy and comfortable so I decided to spend my entire last week there. The Staff is very helpful, kind and do their best to make your time at the Hotel and in Pokhara great. The offer an extensive menu with fresh beverages, the laundry service is fast and has a fair fee, so you can have your clothes washed on sight. The hotel offers (at a fair rate) the airport shuttle and will also take care of your luggage if you need to leave for a few days. I was quite happy to have a tour agency ate the hotel that took care of my last trekking trip. The offer a range of great guides that will manage either private or group tours for you. My special thanks to Sanjog (Operations Manager), he personally took care of me (Solo Traveler) and assured that all my need were covered. he gave me local tips about what to do (and not do hahaha) and was always very attentive and kind. Anytime I needed support he was there and even shared his personal number so I could feel more safe. The reception is always there for you with a smile on their faces. The Hotel is really well located and offers a beautiful view to the lake. I highly recommend.

Room was ok except there were a few things not working namely the hairdryer and the TV. We called to inform about the hairdryer problem and was promised that they would send someone but no one came. The TV was not working based on the previous reviewers on Google and I dont understand why put something in the room that does NOT work. Also, if you like to book a teekking tour with Mr Sanjog my only advice is to do your own due diligence for you may be overcharged by a Huge Amount (eg. at least 35 - 40 % price markup) I have spoken with several people who were shocked to hear that Guide Ashok from Mr Sanjog company actually texted us to demand for tips. To be fair, when we first met Mr Sanjog, i clarified if tips was necessary. He said that it was NOT needed. I asked his brother Amit too but also they both said it was not needed. Imagine to my horror the next morning after the guide and porter dropped us off at the Hotel that they requested for tips to be given. The problem is not that we arent willing to pay but the expectations of being told from the start and now at the end they are singing a different tune with claims that it is Not Necessary to tip if you really dont want to BUT if you have a good relationship with them you can tip. IF this was told to us from the start,i believe the outcome of our trip would have not ended like that. It is extremely disappointing. In summary, location of the hotel is good but you could do better since there are so many other alternatives. Also, the risk of you being shortchanged is much much lower. Do you own due diligence when booking a trek from Mr Sanjog/Mr Amit's company and compare with a few companies is my best advice. The service by their receptionist was the only good thing.

Very helpful staff. Sanjog the Operation Manager was particularly helpful and attentive and was in touch even before I arrived. Great location with views of lake which is a very short walk away. Would recommend this hotel. Great place to recover from a trek.

It's okay, not great, and definitely not 3-star quality. The room is not very clean, the staff are not willing to help us anything. We asked for one pair of slippers, they brought us two right foot, the sizes are not even match. Thumb down.
