The deluxe cottage rooms are not in the main building, and you can watch the sunrise on the sixth floor. The room and bathroom were large and clean, the bathroom was a bit dated and the hand towels had a strange smell. The room has safe and iron. Breakfast is a buffet, which is not bad. The only problem is getting to the hotel, they only have 2 free shuttles from the lakeside, otherwise you need to take a taxi. All staff are friendly.

Disappointing Stay at Himalayan Front Hotel I recently stayed at the Himalayan Front Hotel by KGH Group, and I regret to inform that my experience was far from satisfactory. The first major letdown was the view from our room. Contrary to the stunning vistas showcased in online photos, the actual scenery, especially from the lower floors, was underwhelming. This clear discrepancy between expectation and reality was a disappointing start to our stay. Furthermore, the hotel's location poses significant inconvenience. Nestled in a remote area, it lacks accessible transportation options. The hotel offers a shuttle service but only at restrictive times (9 am and 3 pm), which is hardly sufficient. Resorting to a taxi is the only other option, but be prepared for exorbitant fares that add unnecessary expense to the trip. Another aspect that failed to meet expectations was the dining experience. The dinner buffet, priced at $15, was average at best. The options were limited and did not justify the cost. Additionally, the coffee served at breakfast was a letdown. As a coffee enthusiast, I found it lacking in both taste and quality – it did not live up to the standard of what one would typically expect. Overall, my stay at Himalayan Front Hotel was marked by a series of disappointments. From misleading representations of room views to logistical challenges and subpar dining options, it fell short of providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would advise potential visitors to consider these points when making their travel plans.

The room is OK, but the hotel is located halfway up the mountain. It's winding to get there, and there's nothing to do around. The food in the hotel is really expensive. I just had some grilled chicken wings, French fries, some vegetarian dishes, and two beers, which cost 1,000 RMB. This is a sky-high price menu in China. I won't go there again!

The biggest surprise after staying in the hotel is that the scenery is beyond expectations. The Himalayas are close in front of you. When you come to Pokhara, you must find a hotel on the mountain. The scenery is amazing. The hotel's catering is pretty good. The omelette for breakfast and momo for dinner are highly recommended. To watch the sunrise, you can take the elevator to the top floor with a dedicated viewing terrace. It was the first time I tried time-lapse photography to shoot the sunrise, and I took it directly in the room, and it felt pretty good.

The hotel facilities are not new, but the sanitation is still very clean. The best thing is the service. The front desk restaurant, the security room, and the airport pick-up driver are very good at communicating in English and have a good attitude. The hotel is on a small hill in the direction of the Himalayas from the urban area. The room has a direct view of the mountains. The sheep and chickens raised by the neighbor next door to the hotel entrance are very cute. Surrounded by local people's residences, very quiet. The food in the hotel restaurant is good and tastes good. The massage lady is very good.

The environment of the hotel is superb. You can see Yuwei Peak by lying on the bed, which saves you the pain of getting up early to watch the sunrise. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to the lake. Sanitary conditions are also very good. Although the facilities are not very new, they are still very good. The hotel also has an infinity swimming pool for swimming. In particular, the service is very considerate. After I fell ill there, everyone from the hotel lobby manager to the waiters cared for me, provided mint tea, and kept warm and cold. Thank them again here.

It's okay if you come for healing, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. The swimming pool is good. However, the water management was not clean, and the service of the staff was good. The breakfast was worse than I thought, and the dinner was not good either. I had nothing to do, so I called a taxi for 1,600 rupees round trip and came in after playing in Lakeside. Because it was still off-season, the rooftop bar was not maintained. The view from the room is wonderful

Average A bit far

This hotel is in Sarangkot, high above Pokhara. While it is a 10-15 min drive into town, it is worth staying here. It is so peaceful, & the hotel has a shuttle into town (twice a day). The rooms are big, with picture windows facing the Himalaya range. The 6th floor bar & balcony provide almost 360-degree view of the area. The swimming pool is a nice feature, and we had good foot massages at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was very good, inc. both western (omelettes, pancakes) & local foods. We had a couple dinners here-huge selection of *******, Indian & Nepali dishes. I loved the Goa fish in a tasty sauce. The front desk manager was outstanding. He arranged cars for us to both Dhampus & Ghorka. And the hotel manager was often present, always a good sign. The hotel should do away with the little throwaway bottles of shampoo etc & put the soaps in refillable larger units in the shower, to cut down on plastic garbage. The building is showing some signs of aging. But I would stay here again.

I regret to say that my recent stay at Himalayan Front Hotel By KGH Group was far from satisfactory. Before arriving, I called the hotel twice to check if transportation for pickup was provided. Both times, I was hung up on without any assistance or information given. This lack of communication left us vulnerable, and we ended up paying twice the amount to get to the hotel - USD 10. Upon arrival, the issues did not end. During our stay, a personal belonging of mine was broken by the hotel staff during cleaning. This carelessness further soured our experience. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many better options available where you will be treated with respect and your belongings will be safe.

The view from the room was great. We were lucky to have a great sunrise view from the terrace of the Annapurna mountains and the Fishtail. Food from the restaurant was really great. Staff was really helpful and rooms were clean and good. All in all a great experience

The hotel staff was extremely friendly & even offered us an extra day of free stay (which we couldn't avail due to our booked flight back ) when our trip got delayed due to airport closure due to rains. We were given an upgrade with Himalayan view balconies in addition. Lovely rooms, enough space & privacy for a family getaway. Extremely friendly staff , yummy food & the icing on the cake was the location. We saved a ride to Sarangkot view tower where visitors drive to early in the morning to catch the view as the rising sun throws light on the Annapurna range. We were right next to the spot & the Earth view Lounge on the top made the morning views even memorable. Even with the haze & the clouds we got to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Majestic Himalayas ! PRO-TIP : Best time to visit for postcard perfect pictures is Sept- Jan, after which haze starts lingering & it's a hit & miss ..

I had a wonderful stay between 8-10 March at this hotel with my partner. The property provides stunning views along with great hospitality services Rooms were spacious and clean, and had ample amenities available for a perfect stay Food provided was full of flavours and has top notch taste My parents also enjoyed the property a lot due to the warm hospitality extended by staff and management. Would really recommend this property to anyone who is aspiring for a calm and peaceful stay with stunning views
