Aparthotel Duva & Spa

We have stayed at Duva many times over the years as a family. This was our first time in the premium apartments which were spacious clean and overall very nice. I think a bit of on going maintenance would be a good idea some very minor issues, TVs in bedroom’s weren’t working, door lock on main door needed attention, but these are only minor issues which were sorted quickly by reception and maintenance staff. The apartments are in a great location near the on site gym indoor pool and spa and access to three outdoor pools. There is always plenty of free parking. The food at Duva is very good especially the Lunch menu at the out door pool bar which caters for all tastes both young and not so young. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and always there to help Day and night. Duva is in a lovely location with views of the mountains and a 15 minute walk to Puerto Pollenca and the beach front and the pine walk, shops, bars fine restaurants and the beautiful port with boat trips, scuba, jet skiing and many more water sports, or just to stroll around the port to look at the many terrific boats and yachts. Overall we had a great experience at Duva again and will return next year, this was our second trip this year and we really enjoyed it. We have been coming to Duva for 25 years on and off and it never fails to disappoint. Duva also caters for cyclists all year round and is very welcoming for groups and solo individuals. Our stay in Duva could not have been better. The apartment was kept spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed. Our reception on the first day was efficient, friendly and informative. The receptionist was so helpful. The staff at the pool bar simply couldn't do enough enough to help; they were so friendly and went out of their way to get to know us during our 2-week stay. Ana and Adriana are a real credit to the hotel! So too is Luciano who worked tirelessly day and night to get to know the guests and to provide an excellent entertainment programme for all ages.

We all enjoyed our holiday enormously. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They treated us as if nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and the food had something to suit all tastes. We were very impressed and i will be going back there. Well Done to Duva Spa

We found our stay, in general, to be quite enjoyable. Friendly staff, nice vibe and the pool/bar being open every day was great. It wasn’t too busy and the complex has quite a lot of facilities which you can make use of. In the evenings it was quiet (although we were lucky enough to be away from the entertainment so maybe that’s not always the case). Downsides, the apartment wasn’t the cleanest. Most of the utensils needed washing again and there was lipstick on some of the bedding. Really nasty mould on the coffee pot for example, but they replaced it without a fuss. The indoor pool/spa smelled pretty unpleasant and the place felt old and was needing a refurbishment.

We are just back from a 7 night stay at the Duva aparthotel, we stayed in the 2 bed apartments across the road from the main hotel block. The accommodation was good (slightly tired but really its perfectly fine) AC worked brilliant, shower was excellent, kitchen well equipped. We had half board and really couldn't fault the food at all, there was variety and it all tasted great! Plenty of it and the staff were amazing always very friendly and would have a chair for our toddler etc ready The hotel has plenty pools and sunbeds, our daughter made plenty noise and no one seemed to mind! The beach etc is about 15-20mins walk (some people say along a main road but you can walk a quiet route too) but the hotel also put on a complementary bus to the beach between 10 - 12 and 17 - 19 so it worked good for us with a toddler. I have to mention the Entertainment superstar Luciano who even thought there was only our daughter and one other still did the mini disco at night which Kayleigh absolutely loved! just the effort put in with only 1 child shows how great the staff are. Overall the staff make the place, so friendly and helpful - really cant praise them enough.

Excellent value aparthotel with great facilities. Went as a couple to relax and do some cycling. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious for us two. Nice big balcony, almost silent a/c which was very effective at keeping every area at a comfortable temperature. A little out of town but near enough for an easy bike ride (hired bikes for the week and confidently stored in the secured bike garage), or a 15 minute walk to the beach/main town. Bus stop very close by which we used for a trip to Palma city. Nice vibes all round. Would definitely stay again.

My husband, son and I were looking for a base for them to go cycling and me to relax and we could not have chosen better. The hotel staff are all very friendly and efficient, and rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard. We stayed in the apartments which were comfortable, roomy and clean. There is a veranda area for hanging wet clothes which was brilliant as it meant not having to hang wet towels and cycling gear over the balcony. From a cycling prospective it is ideal, the breakfasts are all you can eat and there are many options, there are large secure cages for bike storage and it is location is ideal. From a relaxing point of view, all the pools are great, many sun loungers, and as about half the guest have gone off cycling for the day very few people using them. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel but did have lunch in the bar area which wasted good and was very reasonable. All in all I can’t fault this hotel, even the 15 minute walk to the sea front isn’t bad, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks to all the staff there.

We had a great time. Kids love the pool and the entertainment every night. Receptionists were nice. We stayed on a family room. Just a suggestion on the toilet, a bit of deep cleaning required on floors/drainage as there was quite an unpleasant smell even after routine cleaning. Sink was also clogged. Mosquitoes were everywhere, room could benefit a mosquito repellant spray during cleaning. Also, an upgrade on the room features will be a plus. But overall, it was great a great stay.
