The hotel is in a good environment, facing the Great Lakes. There are unwashed small stains on the sheets. At night, I went to the hotel to recommend the boat trip to the lake to watch the birds and watch the sunset. It is a very rare experience. When I came back, it was already dark. The moon in the sky, the light of the hotel on the shore, and the chanting of the monks. . . The whole process of paddling by two young people is very hard and environmentally friendly. The next day, there was some unpleasantness at the checkout. The dinner expenses that had been paid by my husband were in the blink of an eye and the same fee-paying waiter planned to take the payment of my friend. . .

The property is located in front of the lake. Immersed in nature it is very suggestive.
We arrived around 6pm and unfortunately the pool closed at 6.30pm so we didn't have time to test it. They offer free spa service but massages are subject to charges.
The restaurant is well stocked with alcohol, you can eat discreetly buffet-style cuisine, both typical Asian and international, for around €15 per person. Breakfast is also a buffet; you can find sweet/savory products and freshly cooked eggs.
Our room (deluxe double) was very nice, on two levels: in the lower part the bathroom has a particular concept. A sliding door takes you directly into the room with a half roof covered only by a net. All very beautiful but impractical and above all there is the risk of finding many insects, as in our case.
In the upper part there is the bedroom, very comfortable.
The upholstery is not entirely clean and this contrasts with the entire structure.

This was the first stop to the hotel in Sri Lanka, and I stayed for one night. Location: Very close to Lion Rock, we returned to the hotel after playing! Service: Warm, give a glass of local juice as soon as you come, and take the initiative to send luggage into the room! Room: In line with the picture, we booked a triple room and a family room. The triple room has one large bed and one small bed; the quadruple room has one large bed and two small beds! There is a hair dryer with not much wind, the water volume is very small, the water temperature is not stable, there are mosquitoes, not too many, and there is no mosquito net in the room, and I have not been bitten this night! The cubicle is not good. The child sings ”Twinkle, Twinkle, Twinkle” while taking a bath, isolate a man, and also say ”Twinkle, Twinkle Twinkle,” with a smile! Food: As it was getting late, I did not go out for dinner purposely. I ordered the food and meal time at the front desk of the hotel. The taste is acceptable and the price is moderate! Breakfast and buffet, but rich! The recommendation index is 3.9 (out of 5 points)

Very friendly helpful staff and good food. Very large tree house with mossie net around the bed. We expected lots of mossies being so close to jungle but we didn’t actually see any. Lots of space in tree house with a sitting area in the tree house and below. Plenty of lighting and electric points and a stand up fan. Half open bathroom with plentiful hot water in shower. Very accommodating with giving us a picnic breakfast for an early start to climb Sigyria rock which is about 10 min drive away.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located next to a rice field, and it is very leisurely to eat breakfast just facing the pastoral scenery.
The room decoration and facilities are relatively simple, but with ironing board and iron, the basic functions are available. There are fewer surrounding facilities and it is inconvenient to buy things. If it is a family trip, it may need a more convenient place to live.

It is very close to the scenic area, and it is only a 10-minute walk. 570 / night, outdated facilities, rooms are relatively tide, the price difference between the previous night and the Candara Heritage Hotel is only one hundred, but it can not be compared, the cost performance is extremely low, it is not recommended to stay at all. The hotel is built next to a lake. This lake is said to be the largest lake in Sri Lanka. Before booking, I saw some wild elephants drinking water in the morning near the hotel lake, so I booked it without hesitation. I had imagined sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake and eating the noodles of the motherland, but I opened the balcony door and found that I could not see the lake at all, and was covered by the canopy. I ran to the lake in the evening to wait for the elephant to drink water. , The elephant did not come.

GGuest UserThis is the worst place I have ever been to. We stayed at Trinco for 2 nights and traveled to Polonnaruwa and had to stay in Polonnaruwa because we got a bit late. This is the only place that we could find last minute. The pictures look very nice for the price, so we made a reservation. We got the VIP room because that is the only one left. The room was terrible. The bathroom stank when we first enter. The toilet paper roll was green in color with fungus. Also, there was a frog in the bathroom. We complained and they cleaned it again. But they clearly didn't know how to clean a bathroom properly. We actually thought of finding another place but we stayed here as it was very late. We couldn't stay inside as the room was not clean so we spent some time outside the room. That's when this terrible incident happened. There was a big family of about 10 people with kids. They also had complained about the cleanliness of the rooms. (Obviously) Suddenly a person in black came (sounded like the owner and looked like a drunk politician) and started a fight with the family about complaining about the room. The fight went for about half an hour and he asked the family to leave. The family left as soon as possible. This is such a terrible place. Don't go unless you need this kind of drama.
