Menada Grand Resort Apartments

Apartment G402 at Midia Grand Resort in Aheloy. Already when checking in at the Menada office, things started to go uphill, because we were a little before the check-in time, at 2.30 p.m., and we had to wait until exactly 3 p.m. to get our keys. We rented an apartment with a kitchenette because we wanted to prepare our own meals, but unfortunately the "apartment" was not fully prepared for this - although there was a hob, cutlery, cups, plates, but the set included only one pot, no frying pan, and... cook dinner here or fry anything, even scrambled eggs for breakfast. We reported the lack of a frying pan to the Menada office, but it was delivered only on the penultimate day of our 10-day stay and only after Booking's intervention... The cutting board was old and disgusting, a huge breeding ground for bacteria. The freezer door was torn off, so everything froze. The next day after the report, a technician came and repaired it, but it could have been done after the previous tenants left. The shower drain was clogged, the shower curtain was dirty, the shower was also dirty, and the sofa had not been cleaned for a long time. The paint was peeling off the walls. The mattress had no cover and was heavily stained. The pillows were not suitable for sleeping. Cleaning halfway through the stay turned out to be just taking out the garbage by the cleaning ladies. There was a bucket and a mop stick, but without a tip, so mopping the floor on your own, even in the bathroom, was out of the question. And the toilet brush was a total drama. Everything can be seen in the photos. The years of glory shown in the photos in the rental advertisements are long gone. Wifi in the room unfortunately has an additional fee (you need to buy a router), but you can use Wifi by the pool. In addition, there is only one swimming pool in the facility (the second one has been under renovation for a year), there is no restaurant or additional amenities, so to eat or shop you have to walk a bit or drive a car. The entire complex is fenced and there is only one exit to the beach, at the security booth at the entrance. The views, the surroundings and, fortunately, the small number of guests somewhat compensate for all these inconveniences.
