The room is large, the swimming pool is beautiful, and the breakfast is rich, fresh and nutritious. It is located in the central area, and the building next door is being renovated. Those looking for quiet may be disappointed. However, the front desk allowed us to check out one day early, and we received a refund after many communications. Great!

Hotel is fabulous. However pondicherry as a whole has lost its charm. Too much crowd and dirty streets. We did not feel like getting out of the hotel. Right outside the hotel you will see jobless men ogling at women.

Stayed here for a short break for 2n in the chambre deluxe in jan 24. The location is excellent, pretty much walking to most places in the white town part of pondicherry and right next to the promenade. The room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. Really loved the breakfast, they had an excellent spread of dishes and we wanted to have a lot more than we could digest :) The staff were helpful and gave us some helpful tips to move around. The exterior facade is itself one of the highlights of the town.

No variety in breakfast; bland food. They have couple of dishes in the breakfast apart from breads and eggs. Poor quality and zero taste. And not to met-ion the pongal vada combo, less said better.

I stayed at Palais de Mahe with my family wherein we were 2 couples ***** with a child. The property treated us to its best, amazing & clean pool as well as area, amazing food even on demand, cleanliness to next level, great staff.. over all we had a great experience here. I would highly recommend if one visits Pondy to stay here & chill! Thanks Palais! 😇

Palais de mahe is a wonderful hotel located very close to the promenade beach. It is very well maintained and has taken all necessary precautions to ensure your safe visit. There is a restaurant and cocktail lounge to satiate your taste buds, with very courteous staff.
