Hice una reserva 1 día antes y tuve que cancelarla debido a la muerte de mi madre. Se han negado a devolverme el depósito del 50% a pesar de que les avismos también el día de antes, muy pocas horas después de hacer la reserva. Primero me dijeron que era porque había hecho la reserva a través de Booking, pero contacté con Booking y Booking con Devocean, y son los de Devocean que se niegan a devolver el dinero en un caso tan triste. Han tenido una actitud muy ruin, enriqueciéndose de la desgracia ajena y sin haberles supuesto ningún gasto. Tanto la reserva como la anulación fueron un día antes, por lo que no les generamos ningún gasto ni molestia. Dice mucho de estas personas que sólo quieran nuestro dinero.

This eco lodge is a very well organized and quite kept place. It's intimate and nice and tropical at the same time. The food in the restaurant is delicious. One downside is that if you are a light sleeper then there are a lot of noises kicking off at 5-6 AM from the main road. All in all it's a very nice place to stay in Ponta Do Ouro

We had an amazing time staying here and ended up extending our visit by 4 days. We absolutely loved the vibe amongst staff and guests and felt looked after throughout the visit. Sean was a fabulous host and welcomed us very warmly from the offset. I like the sense of trust we had throughout with the ‘trust bar’ and the place also offers delicious meals and a fantastic masseuse. The garden and tents were incredibly well maintained with daily cleaning provided. We stayed here for a week and loved unwinding out the front of the tent and looked forward to interactions with the staff and fellow guests. We would 100% recommend and hopefully will get to return some day!

Sean is a true problem solver and helped us tremendously. The cabins were clean and the jungle atmosphere was fantastic to have by the beach.
The breakfast was really good and the facilities were all great.

This quaint ecolodge was perfect for our Mozambique trip! It has everything you need to make your stay fun and comfortable! We stayed in the “Pinnacle” room and it was wonderful! The bed and pillows were perfect, the A/C unit worked awesome. The owner Sean is great, his staff is friendly! You will not be disappointed when you visit!

This is one of the most enjoyable experiences I have yet had on the continent. Certainly the best so far in Mozambique. Sean is an excellent post in the property is extremely well kept. Accommodations are very comfortable, and the food is extremely high quality. I highly recommend trying the eggs Benedict for breakfast, which is included with your accommodation.

The place is beautiful and very well located, extremely clean, beautiful garden, and the staff are amazing. Amazing free breakfast and the dinner is not expensive and one of the best in the area. When I come back to Ponta do Ouro I’ll stay at Devocean again for sure!
