We stayed 2 days at this hotel in our vacation. We had a nice spacious room with view to the river. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Parking next to the hotel. A good starting point when exploring this part of Portugal.

Hôtel calme, bien situé avec parking privé.Très bon accueil du personnel, très à l'écoute, conseils pour les restaurants, parlant français.
Grande chambre. Grand lit double trop ferme avec perception des ressorts. Machine à café Nespresso dans la chambre avec 6 capsules appréciées (2 expresso, 2 décaféinés, 2 infusions), mais uniquement à disposition pour la 1ere nuit et non renouvelé ensuite quelque soit le nombre de nuits passées, sauf à payer un supplément...dommage !

Room was great, so clean, so roomy. The staff was great and breakfast excellent. And we love the cats next door to property. Beautiful cats and need to be cared for. If hotel set up a donation box at check in, this money could be used to neuter and vaccinate at local vet. Many people loved the cats as us and would donate for sure

Excellent stay. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night before heading to Geres but the longer stay would have been very nice too.

How fortunate to have discovered this beautiful little hotel. We didn’t know what to expect since it is not easy to get here, but it was well worth our trip to come this little boutique hotel . We thought it was a new hotel, but it may be that the management is very meticulous about keeping it impeccable. Our room was spacious, included a speaker above the bed for music in case we’d want to set a mood, matching towel robes, and a very reasonably priced and good quality breakfast. It is next to a river and lush rolling hills, and a seating area with a view. You can hear the river rushing into whitewater/cascades, songbirds all around, clean air— it was an experience of the senses for us. I think this would be a great place for an intimate wedding, a romantic getaway, or simply to disconnect from everything and have a peaceful stay.
