A very good and well located villa, very pretty and pleasant stay, the only drawback I would say was the spa issue, neither the Turkish baths nor the small pool were working, if that had been working it would have been ideal, but equally, everything else was a luxury for us.

Amazing place, 2 big bedrooms we booked and they were huge. Clean in general. Had all kitchen and catering amenities. Staff was kind. For the price it was a steal. Highly recommend this place. It’s about 12 min drive to albufeira center. There’s a Aldi in 5 min drive very handy. The place has a common swimming pool we did not use it as it was still a bit chilly and we were tired too. Lot of parking around inside the villa. The only downsides I can say and they are minor the shower could be slightly better spray that’s it. 5/5 for me.

Just returned from a 3 ball golf Trip. Played Faldo and O'connor twice each. First off, this place isn't perfect, but value for money you cannot have any complaints. We were more than satisfied. O'connor was a decent resort course. Tee boxes on some holes were poor and some of the bunkers are not up to scratch. Tee boxes do not stop you hitting a decent shot. Crap lie in a bunker with no sand?.... Move it! who cares, this isn't a professional tournament. Overall the O'connor is not bad. I wouldn't include it on my trip back if wasn't already part of the package but still good. Shout out David from Denmark who joined us on our last day and participated hugely in a 4 ball scramble. 9 under. Not bad Faldo Course. This course is fantastic. Much better maintained to that of the O'connor, although still some ropey tee boxes. Very tough course in 40 mph winds and even more difficult when still slightly drunk from the night before. This course I would Happily detour off and play again. True test of golf that will hurt complacency on the back 9 especially. Hole 10 the one of the toughest holes I have ever played. 495 yards par 4 that is usually into wind. We were very lucky with Buggies as clearly they do not have enough. On 2 occasions we got the last two buggies which meant anyone booking in their round after us, would have had to wait. Pace of play was always very good. Surprising really but only got stuck once on the Faldo after we caught up on the 12th hole. After a really poor 14th by us, everyone dispersed again and smooth sailing there on after. For the most part you feel like you are the only ones on the course. Shuttle service was good, although only one driver most days but wasn't really an issue. Resort itself - 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was excellent. Really well looked after and modern throughout. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Some more quieter than others and some clearly new to their jobs but the intent to help was always there. We managed to move one days golf and bring it forward as weather forecast for the Thursday looked miserable. Lady in pro shop was very helpful and happy to accommodate. Luckily we did as Thursdays weather was horrific. Food decent enough and not bad value for money. Lunch we had at resort but for dinners we went into Albufeira or Vilamoura. Top tip - Download Uber and use these for travel, much cheaper. Breakfast was nice. Lots to offer and no complaints here Negatives - No supermarket on site. For a self catering resort, this is stupid. Pool closed October. Not sure we would have made the pool anyway as weather wasn't the best. Location - Middle of nowhere. Will need cabs and Ubers for travel. Bunkers on O'connor in particular are poor. Tee boxes on both not great on some holes. Some cabagey rough areas around greens, not many. For all he negative reviews knocking about, I was very nervous about this place as it was me that picked and organised this trip. I didn't want to let the boys down

Booked a 3-night twin room to attend a friend's lecture in Lagoa. The hotel, or better, motel is excellent for those on wheels, not for those on foot. If you have disabilities find another town in the Algarve. Some sets of stairs do not have rails, you have to go round the entrance to physically 'get in'. The reception has only 1 staff member when off-season, be prepared and do it all online. Forget questions about taxis, transportation, and restaurant advice is really subjective. The room was very comfortable, the second door to a set of stairs (curled) with direct access to the car park/entry of the hotel area was not. Cold and humidity pass through the doors (front door leading to corridor inside as well), as doors need maintenance. Breakfast is good and varied, for all tastes, except gluten-free options. Internet signal very weak, had to use phone data package. Check-in is only at 4pm. Pro's. besides what I already mentioned: bus terminal 5 min walk, good restaurants each way 5 min walk (one is just next door), supermarket passing the roundabout, beds very comfortable. You can walk to the centre (10 min walk) but the town is without interest, unless you are there for an event, for those on foot, you can stay here and get to know other nearby cities in the Algarve by bus, as the terminal is so close, and it is not expensive to go around by bus.

The room is large and quiet but the boxes are old and dirty gardens with locked parts. The balcony is large but dirty and needs a update in the painting. The bathroom is good but with strong smell from the rack. The room is large and it would be good to have a supplement waste because it only has in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The mini kitchen has a good fridge but the boxes and pia are very old, with a strong smell. I missed detergent and bubble in the kitchen. The room level would justify having a Nespresso, it would be very good. The good point are towels of excellent quality in both the room and the pool. The area of the pool is beautiful, well-cared garden and top chairs to sleep. The bar is interesting, but I didn't use it because I found the prices a little cheap. We have dinner one day at the hotel, I don't recommend it, it's buffet service and the food wasn't good, it was expensive.

I would use one word to describe this hotel -Paradise. We came as guests and the staff treated us so well, we left as friends. We had our wedding at the Bricia Du Mar and it was prefect. The location for a wedding is what we dreamed of. The hotel is low rise and like a little village with beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. There is a fantastic gym and spa also. What Raquel, Pedro and everyone else did to help us was above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. They say they are not wedding planners but what they did to help us arrange our wedding was incredible. This a family run hotel and you can see the care and attention they have to make the hotel a success as it is quite new. Everything is spotlessly clean and such a calming wonderful environment. Our wedding went without a hitch and the attention to detail was incredible. All the staff at our wedding were genuinely happy to be there from the chefs to the bar staff and waiters who couldn’t do enough for us. This place has polarizing reviews.. After going there, I understand why. The facilities and services are good. You can use the swimming pool, washer and dryer (performance is poor), sauna and spa for free, and although the building structure is unique (1st and 8th floor reception, 2 elevator transfers, etc.), it's okay if you get used to it. We couldn't find the way by taxi, so we climbed the hill with our suitcases, but the reception on the first floor is near the spar mart. They were friendly, but the air conditioner was broken so I called twice and they didn't come so I just gave up. This place is in the middle of the old town, so I actually made a reservation based on the location, but it's literally in the middle of the club street, so even if you're inside the accommodation, you'll be staying at the concert hall all night long. There's no soundproofing, so you have to enjoy it together until 5 a.m. The noise is another level, as foreign reviews say. I’m traveling around the world, but this place is really ambiguous haha. The breakfast isn’t bad, but it’s just ambiguous… . Personally, I think it would be less noisy and better if it wasn't just in this alley because it's Albupay!!

Nice hotel for seaside vacation. There are many restaurants around that are not expensive. It’s cheap to go to Spain. You can eat and drink without stress. Don’t waste the opportunity

I would love to give this place a poor review to put people off going so I could keep it for myself but that would be doing the staff a real disservice. I can't fault this place at all- the place was spotless inside and out and the rooms were well equipped with fridge ,safe and air conditioning and lovely hot showers. The breakfast had something for everyone and changed each day. The staff are the real star of the show though and nothing is too much trouble. We mentioned we were looking for worry beads and the next thing we knew one of the waitresses at breakfast went across the street and brought back a selection for us to choose from and purchase from the shop opposite. Special mention to Ioanna who was so friendly and up for a laugh she really made our holiday. Great Central location but quiet with a lovely small pool and pool area. Can't wait to come back!
