Riverside Motel

Motel was very clean. Great showers. Air conditioning was nice and set before we came as we hit a hot spell in BC. Staff were super friendly, helpful and courteous. Close to a lot of good restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Port Alberni.

A very accommodating pet friendly motel. The newly renovated room was exceptionally clean and well kept. The property and location a great for dog walking and keeping your dogs well cared for. The rooms are quiet and the site has easy access.

Very clean, friendly and the staff were professional and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay. Deb the lady who manages the Motel was professional and knowledgeable and gave us tips on hiking and walkways around the area. We had a very relaxing stay.

Everything is always super clean and well-maintained

LOVED this property! Can't say enough about it. Didn't interact with any staff, check in info was taped to front door and was easy. Check out easy. Didn't encounter anyone cleaning the next day as we left incredibly early in order to beat road closure going to Tofino. 2 bedrooms, super clean, cute, mini kitchen with dishes, parking out front, great location, extras like full shampoo to use and a cute little rubber ducky! Very well maintained outside, beautiful flowers. Easy check in and info about road closures to Tofino which were invaluable. Wished this property was available for more nights!! Can't wait to return. Bathroom is very tiny and A/C is loud, but that would not deter us from staying again. Very well maintained, clean, and organized! Shout out to the most amazing pizza ordered from Royal Canadian 3 for 1 pizza (it was recommended in our room info binder). It was amazingly delicious, pizza that is a pie, so heavy. Caution, order less as the slices are VERY filling. There was a mix up with my daughters pasta order and they happily corrected it and redelivered the corrected order at no charge. Very grateful and impressed!! Pizza to die for! It did take 1 hour for delivery (twice to redeliver corrected order) but was totally worth it. They were busy!!

It's newly renovated, good location for short stay.

I liked that the motel was beside a river. Maybe the rooms could have more bins for waste disposal such as recycling and compost to improve waste reduction.

This is an older hotel but they have updated everything. We found it very well appointed and comfortable. Best kitchenette in a hotel room I have ever had. It's not fancy but it's a great little place and really affordable. Close to the river front walkways and boardwalks and not a far walk from local brewpub and bakeries and restaurants
