We previously stayed at this complex a few years ago and had a very positive experience. We booked for a three night stay this time around and I was very happy to leave . You could say from the checking in experience the signs were there that this is definitely not a four star complex. We were sent on our merry way to find our room ourselves. The first problem we encountered was the air conditioning system which was extremely loud . I presented myself to reception the next day and informed a male employee of the problem and was told they would get maintenance on to it . This issue was not dealt with at all even after a second report. Breakfast was ok and the chef at the cooking station was exactly the same ok . Dinner was excellent the only enjoyable experience of the stay and the host at the restaurant in the evening was the only member of staff that had any form of customer service. There are petty extra charges here that really bothered me , the safe in the room charges for towels after a deposit 1 euro for fruit from the breakfast buffet if you want to take it with you . Upon checking out I mentioned that our issue with the air conditioning system was not dealt with the attitude of the male receptionist was cavalier to say the least . Not what you expect from a so called four star establishment. All in all I definitely would not stay here again didn’t feel valued or welcomed. Staff need retraining in customer service and bar staff should be happy to leave the setting of tables for evening entertainment especially when two are doing the job to serve the waiting guest . I emailed the complex to tell them of my experience through their website but got no response.

My wife and I have just returned home after a week at this hotel. We found all staff from reception to cleaners and restaurant alike friendly and helpful. We were on a half board basis and the buffet style meals in the restaurant did not disappoint, especially good at dinner. We found our beds a little uncomfortable for our liking and the room a little tired. the shower was powerful, but we could not use it at full power as the tray could not cope and flooded bathroom floor. The hotel has a gym and also a coin operated laundrette(which we never used) Entertainment at night was ok. Something different every night. If we go back to Puerto Pollensa in the future then we consider this hotel again. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

We had a very enjoyable week at this hotel despite the location of the room we were allocated. It must be the worst room in this hotel - at the back on the ground floor with a view of huge oleander hedging. The grass area would need to be better kept and the most off putting aspect of the grassed area were the two manhole covers. We approached reception to request another room but nothing was available to meet our needs. I have to say that the reception staff were more than helpful and eventually we were moved one floor up - the difference was immense after spending 3 nights in that dark, dreary room 120 - we could now see the sky! We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful selection of food on offer both at breakfast and dinner and the nightly entertainment was excellent. A mention must go to the friendly and helpful Jet2 rep, Chaz - who said Jet2 are not responsible for allocating hotel rooms - all I can say is if Jet2 wish to keep their customers happy they need to inform the hotel that room 120 is not acceptable. I will finish with compliments and thanks to all the staff - particularly those happy, hard workers in the dining room. Thank you.

Rate this hotel 3stars Get your own sunbeds Charges for towels charges for safe deposits No poolside bar service! They quoted insurance cost for safe deposit boxes. Didn’t think of liability insurance when old people were getting sunbeds from stacks because none were out 3 star maximum Will report to Jet2

I have just returned from a 10 day stay with my husband and kids (aged 7 and 12) and we had a fantastic time. The food, the rooms, the pool, the staff - everything was really great! There was a really good selection of food at breakfast and dinner, fantastic fish, really lovely salads, delicious vegetable dishes and wonderful desserts! I am allergic to gluten and the chef was happy to show me what was suitable and what was not, everything that was gluten free was labelled (there was a wide selection) and a number of gf cereals and bread at breakfast (plus the best gluten free carrot cake I have ever had in my life one evening!!). The staff in the dining room were really great, so friendly and attentive and so hard working. Our room was perfect, the sofa converted into two separate single beds for our children. The hotel accommodated our request for a room at the back of the hotel with a view of the mountains and it was perfect - balcony in the shade all day which was nice. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room to a very high standard, it was perfect every day. The tv had a few UK channels which were handy for our kids during siesta time. There was also a fridge, kettle, mugs and tea bags and shower gel and shampoo (although the shower gel didn't lather very well). The pool was great, the main bit is lovely and deep (1.6-2m) which is great for older kids and adults. There is also a shallow kids pool and a baby pool. You don't need to pollute Mallorca with any extra blow up pool toys, there are lots left around the pool from previous guests! It was very busy in the middle of the day, as you would expect, but we often went in the late afternoon and it was lovely at that time. We went to the entertainment a few evenings, the flamenco dancing and the acrobats were amazing and we also enjoyed the bingo beforehand! There is also a pool/games area and table tennis. There is a Spar which sells everything you could need in terms of food/drink/toiletries just around the corner. The beach and beautiful Pine Walk are 5 mins away and the bus station which is great for day trips less than 10 mins walk. This is a wonderful hotel for families and I would imagine equally wonderful to come outside of the school holidays without kids! We all miss it so much already, hopefully we will be back! Many thanks to all the wonderful staff.

Great hotel for families. The room wasn’t huge for a family of 4 but big enough as we didn’t spend a lot of time in it. It was cleaned daily and towels replaced regularly. The rest of the hotel and pool was very clean. The staff were fantastic-every staff member we dealt with was really friendly and helpful. A real plus point of the hotel. We don’t hugely go in for hotel entertainment but the team here worked incredibly hard and we used the kids club a couple of times and our son had a great time. The evening entertainment was mixed but always done with passion. The food was excellent. We usually have bed and breakfast but the offer was half board and we ate in far more than we planned to. Plenty of choice at breakfast and evening, for all tastes and diets. And early breakfast was available for excursions or morning of checking out. The only negative would be I would have liked water with our evening meal without having to pay for it. The hotel was geared towards families and the pool was busy with inflatables and balls, so it wasn’t the most relaxing space, but we don’t tend to spend a full day by the pool anyway so it wasn’t an issue for the time we used the pool. We could always get a sunned and either a parasol or shade, whatever time of day. The little arcade, ping pong and football area kept our son entertained on an evening when he wasn’t watching the disco or entertainment. The location is great. Close walk to the beach, the main square and other restaurant's. Overall, a great hotel and good location.

I really don't understand the negative reviews, it's not perfect but it's still a great hotel! We travelled as a couple with 12 month old baby plus my parent. I contacted the hotel ahead of arrival asking for a quiet room but close to my parents room who had paid for a pool view. They placed us straight opposite eachother ticking both boxes. The room was spacious but lacked storage, it needs some bedroom drawers. I liked the separate bedroom and was the reason I picked this hotel, our beds were very comfortable and the air con was perfect. Loved the bathroom and the large comfortable sofa in the lounge area. Contrary to what some reviews say, kettle and fridge in the room are not chargeable, the safe is but that's normal. The room was cleaned daily, bed linen was only changed when I stripped the bed and placed it on the floor after our baby was sick on it. I believe many hotels now will only change bed linen and towels if you do this in order to save water. The negatives of the room are the only reason I haven't given 5*. - the cot provided for our baby was probably older than me. The mattress seemed uncomfortable and I had to pad it out with blankets under a fitted sheet I brought from home, the mattress seems like a bowl from so much use. Our baby slept better after this. - our room had a broken window in the bedroom, it was a floor to ceiling window and the lower window was cracked. I reported it to reception on arrival and maintenance put tape on the crack. In my opinion this room should not have been used in that condition. I let this slide though as the room was ideally located next to my parents and the window was blocked by a bench so our son couldn't really reach it. The hotel itself is in a great location, the pool area was well maintained and clean although I should point out most of the pool is very deep! We had no trouble with sun loungers or umbrellas there was plenty to go around. The poolside bar had a good selection of drinks, lunch menu was basic but cheap enough, other bars and restaurants are close enough if you want better. The breaakfast and evening buffet in the dining room had a huge selection and was actually decent food! The staff in the dining room were always super friendly although a bit awkward with drinks, we would just get them from the pool bar on the way in as this was easier than waiting for someone to take your order then paying cash. We arrived very end of August just as kids would have been returning to school, so we got a glimpse of what peak summer would be like, lots of children playing with inflatables and pool activities, not the worst thing to listen to children playing but if you wanted relaxing then this wouldn't be ideal so overall if I was to recommend this hotel it would towards families, otherwise don't go in school holidays.

We have recently returned from our fifth stay at this hotel. I think that says it all. There are many guests who return to this hotel year after year. The staff are all amazing The general manager is around the hotel most days, also welcoming guests to dinner. He knows he has a great staff team, and appreciates them very much. Any reviewers mentioning sunbed wars at 6am are reviewing the wrong hotel - the beds are chained up until about 08:45, and there is no mad rush. Even in August there were spare beds and places to set them up at lunchtime. There is more than enough space and furniture to go round. The pool is open until 7pm, not 8pm, and yes, from about 6pm they do start to put away any empty beds and get the tables out by the stage for the evening. But they only do this as and when people naturally head back to their rooms, we never saw anyone asked to move. The rooms are a little short on storage space if you are a family of four, but packing cubes (leave clean clothes in them) and a bag to put dirty clothes in solves that problem. There is lots of shelving to put the cubes on. We love this hotel because it’s small and friendly, with low-key daytime entertainment and a good variety of evening entertainment. We were so sad to have to say goodbye to Malena, Rafa and Sven, but I have no doubt that we will return again. Thank you so much to everyone for another brilliant holiday, we had such a great time.

Upon arrival I was really underwhelmed by the standard of customer service. Reception staff were quite rude and were unsure if our room was ready or not. We were left sitting for half an hr in the reception area before someone came to us to advise that the room was indeed ready. The hotel has a decent size pool, unfortunately large inflatables are allowed meaning its extremely difficult to find space to relax. I also question the cleanliness of the pool area itself. The location of the hotel is fantastic. A short walk to the front and main square. Rooms are ok, little storage for a family of four, poor quality sofa beds and the air conditioning is shocking. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed. Cleaning staff were brilliant. The entertainment teams are fantastic and really helped to make the holiday enjoyable for my 2 kids. Breakfast is ok, however the evening meal is superb. Plus points Location Great daytime entertainment for children Some good evening entertainment. Daytime food from the bar is good Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard Evening meal is superb Negative points Zero arrival welcome Pool towels are chargeable Breakfast is just ok No water on the table in the evening. Pool is way too busy Pool area not cleaned well enough Air conditioning is terrible Expensive
