Tropical Nites Holiday Townhouses

Very comfortable villa with all amenities and access to a heated pool. Twenty minutes on foot from the centre and the beach or 4 mins drive. Great hosts! Highly recommended! Wildlife Habitat just 5 mins drive away. We had a great time at this peaceful place.

Absolutely amazing, place, from the staff to the accommodation, all was as you hope it would be, perfect, thank you. The accommodation was perfectly placed for going into Port Douglas, and Port Douglas was a paradise itself, the locals were so friendly and helpful it made our holiday a dream. Cant wait to go back again.

We have stayed here several times because it’s consistently good and meets our needs with a short walk to the beach & shops (needed with holiday eating and drinking), quiet surrounds, plenty of room in the unit, modern renovated bathrooms, comfy furniture and great managers.

This place is ideal to visit Port Douglas. We travelled as a family of 6 and there was plenty of rooms. I asked the owner, Mel, to book our trips to the Reef and Daintree River and both trips were exceptional. She really knows the best providers- her local knowledge is excellent- ask her to book your trips!. The apartments are clean spacious and the small pool is a lovely bonus. The beach can be accessed across the road and a short walk then to all Port Douglas has to offer. I highly recommend staying there and we will be back soon I hope. 10/10

The townhome-style accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 4 (kids are 7&9). There’s a bathroom on each floor, one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. We booked 2 bedrooms, so the one downstairs off the main living area was locked. Location was great, quiet area, short drive into Port Douglas’ main street (street parking is easy), convenient base to other destinations in the area. What gives this place the edge over other similar accommodations is Mel, the manager. Leading up to our stay, she was great with recommendations on things to do in the area, and key in helping us choose a snorkel company that was best for our situation. She made the reservation and even kept an eye on the ocean conditions for us. A few days prior, she recommended moving our tour a day earlier, because the day we had originally booked was forecast to be rough seas. She took care of the reschedule, and the cost (same as if I had booked it directly with the snorkel company) was added to our accommodation bill - easy peasy! Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend Tropical Nites for your Port Douglas stay!

A fabulous stay in Port Douglas. The town houses are a good size, well appointed and in a great location. Mel and Andy were really great with communication and very helpful with arranging a snorkelling booking for us. Many thanks for a great holiday!

We loved our 7 days accommodation at Tropical Nites, the perfect place to relax and unwind in our well appointed townhouse, set in lush tropical gardens. Everything was spotlessly clean, bright and airy with a welcoming atmosphere - from the spacious kitchen, dining, lounge areas to the comfy king size beds in generous sized bedrooms. It was easy to feel relaxed and happy within the appealing and thoughtful decor of our townhouse. Thank you to hosts Mel and Andy, who were friendly and helpful from the moment we made our booking to the welcome we received on arrival and their continued hospitality throughout our stay. Mel and Andy were great hosts - the booking process was efficient, friendly and they went the extra mile by informing us in advance of nighttime road repairs/closures due to Cyclone Jasper damage so we could make alternative travel arrangements. They also booked our local trips - a fantastic morning trip to the Low Isles with Calypso and croc spotting on the Daintree with the Solar Whisper. The apartment at Topical Nites was perfect. Very clean and spacious. The pool was great for cooling off after a decent walk. Highly recommended.
