This is a hotel located by the sea, but you can't see the sea and you can't hear the sound of the waves. Stayed for one night on June 25, including breakfast. The room is quite big, with a kitchen and bathroom workbench, the bathroom is quite big, clean and tidy, and there is wifi in the house. The yard can park a car. Go to the beach and walk for one or two hundred meters. There were no shops nearby, and we went to the city to find a Chinese restaurant for dinner. The hostess was in grade, but she was loud and welcoming, like descendants or immigrants from the Mediterranean coast.

We stayed over for the evening on our way to Kwantu game reserve. Very clean and spacious rooms, centrally located, friendly staff and lovely heated pool which was open till 9:30 pm. The duty manageress was very helpful and assisted us with all our requests. 3 issues: the bathroom in room 9 did not have a key. Bathroom window in room 14 had a small hole in it. Luckily room was on second floor. The shower floors at the pool was dirty. But otherwise a lovely place.

This used to be one of the best hotels in Port Elizabeth, but it has lost its charm. Checking was a nightmare and no manager in sight. The receptionists are very incompetent and have no manners whatsoever. They need to be reminded as to whom is paying their salaries. Breakfast service was poor, with chipped plates and coffee cups being given to us. For the price paid and what I received, I would have assumed I was in a hostel. Just left and went to wimpy where the service and meals were on standard. Will never be back and will ensure that my company books elsewhere next time.

WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say. What a pleasant experience. Since we arrived Frans was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and modern. The bed was comfortable. It was super clean in the room, and they just thought of everything. We requested breakfast earlier than the normal breakfast time and again Frans bended backwards to assist us. We met Christine the next morning at breakfast, and she is such a warm and friendly person. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing. I would stay there again and recommend it to all friends, family and collegues.

The place is well located and near a beach and the famous Board walk mall. The owner is hands on and assist with any issues and needs ASAP. He did not hesitate to help when my car broke down and gave very useful advice. It is a home away from home.
