Lovely location but room only adequate and overpriced to not include breakfast. Coffee machine not emptied, rusty and broken towel rail. Unusable dressing table mirror as too high to see if sitting and too low if standing up. Ariel to TV temperamental. Staff friendly but not attentive.

Very friendly family run hotel, all the staff were very helpful. Food was good and plenty of choice. Room was a little tired little things like damaged curtains and the bathroom smelling a bit damp and musty let it down. The bed was comfortable but storage facilities for clothing was a little tight Great place to base yourself to visit north Wales

Called in on Saturday 15 th June around lunchtime .Lovely interior lots of little nooks and crannies..Ambience just right music not too loud.Staff really nice and friendly.I had scampi and chips with peas and tartar sauce chips were lovely as was the scampi.Hubby had fish finger butty he said it was nice .Well priced .We have a caravan in porthmadog so will definitely be a regular visitor ..

My partner and I visited for a week at the beginning of June. The staff went above and beyond what we would have expected, friendly and attentive making the stay feel very personal and special. The food was great, the rooms were serviced regularly but it was the staff that really made it an exceptional experience.

Lovely accommodation, bedroom and ensuite spotless. We had breakfast and an evening meal, the food was excellent.

Staff was friendly and accomodating yhe plus is they have electric car charger whuch I need the most room was clean though no views but its quiet good for solo guest not good if you got mobility issues for room upstairs coz they dont have lift but maybe request in advance to accomodate in lower floor.

Outstanding food with quality service and decent value for money. We had 2 burgers and a portion of fish and chips! Chips were unusually shaped but superbly cooked. The burgers were lovely and moist. The staff even helped us out of a sticky situation with the local shop being closed. Would highly recommend a visit.

The Golden Fleece is a lovely small hotel / Inn with comfortable rooms. It's tastefully decorated and newly refurbished throughout. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into updating the Inn and seperate accomodation building. Looking forward to revisiting soon.

We had a great stay with you , the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is located in a good place with lovely views. The food and Guinness was wonderful. the only improvement I would make is to modernise the bathroom in room 2 but apart form that I Would definitely stay again!
