Hampton Inn Portland Airport Reviews

We stay here often. They have a free, 24 hour shuttle which you call for when you land. They are practically at the airport and it is less than a 5 minute ride. As always, the bed, shower, room size are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Free hot breakfast is great.

This is the first time I have seen an air conditioner placed on the ground.

The room was nice and the service was great.

Close to the airport, there is an airport bus

It's not satisfactory, it basically meets the requirements, that is, I waited for the bus for more than an hour.

The rooms are always clean and comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. It’s an airport hotel so not much to comment on surrounding property but we have felt safe there. We always stay here at the beginning and end of our yearly Portland trip.

The building, staff, and breakfast are fabulous. It’s the airplane engine high voltage sound that’s the only problem. To some people it’s a deal breaker but to me I just consider the location.

It was convenient because it was next door to the coaching clinic that I was attending. I will stay here annually when I attend the clinic. I was happy with everything the hotel provided.

Really liked that you had 24/7 shuttle service on a regular time table. We arrived late and it was nice to see the shuttle at the airport curb.

Unfortunately I didn’t realize we couldn’t leave our car in the hotel parking lot when you book 3rd party. We planned on leaving our car a week and shuttling to the airport. The front desk lady was so nice about it and felt awful. She said it’s something fairly new because I have stayed places before through 3rd parties and left my car. Quite disappointing and made it much more of a fiasco to get to the airport. Otherwise the place was great!

The room was very neat and looked clean, but had a slight musty smell that was disconcerting. Maybe it’s just the Portland damp?

Our stay was great. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean. Appreciated that there was coffee and the lobby every time we went through. The shuttle was pretty responsive and runs on demand. They don't really have a set schedule. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but everything seemed to be fresh and was kept very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
