Very friendly staff make this place feel so welcoming but that seems to be the norm across Portugal. Hotel is situated some distance from the city center which requires at least 25 minutes walk, although trams operate from in front of the hotel. The breakfast did not offer the most extensive selection but everything was fresh and tasty and staff offer a discounted option if it is purchased on checking for the entire stay.
There are no leisure facilities at this hotel such as swimming pool or gym whilst there is a supermarket very nearby, around 3 minutes walk away.
I enjoyed my stay as the room was comfortable enough but recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel as those at the front are prone to noise from passing guests and the elevators and noise insulation is not the best. Best to ask for rooms ending in number 12 or higher.
Entire property is very very stylish as this building was formally a fish market, albeit with art deco flourishes, converted to a contemporary hotel.

Loved staying at this hotel. Upon arrival staff was enthusiastic to greet us and give essential information to enjoy our stay in Porto. We were recommended to a restaurant called O Fado which was local cuisine with traditional local music,Fado Rooftop views of bridge and river. Charming area. Tram is accessible right outside. Great breakfast.

I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was kind and courteous. The breakfast was available, was simple but effective. Luckily the rooms were comfortable. If you enjoy walking or taking the bus, this is a great space for you filled with nature and a beautiful view.

Excellent experience, with a great location in the heart of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure my stay was pleasant.

The hotel is modernly decorated, the rooms are nice and big, and you feel comfortable and spacious when you enter the hotel.
The Douro River is just outside, there is a big supermarket nearby, and there is a tourist train station in front of the door.
The front desk service is very good. The day we arrived coincided with an important local festival (we didn't know), and the front desk receptionist was very serious and enthusiastic about introducing us to the content of the festival, the general process, and the celebration content. I was very happy to learn about it in advance and not miss it.
The only drawback is that it is a little far from the central tourist area. Although it can be reached on foot, it is a bit far.
