Good location near Porto sights

Decent hotel, very clean not too far from the tourist places. All the staffs are very nice. Especially Ms. Sophia (Breakfast Buffet Area) who’s always present whenever we need anything. The room is clean, they clean everyday but they forgot to refill the liquid body soap container. Needed to ask the reception for a refill and they’re action was prompt. It’s just that it’s a bit hot (AC not so good) Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Worst receptionist ever

The hotel facilities are well-equipped and very new. The room hygiene is very good. The breakfast is average. There are very few hot dishes and the coffee is terrible. The most disappointing thing is that the hotel is in an awkward location, which is really far away from the core attractions. , it takes about 50 minutes to walk (there are many slopes up and down). The hotel itself is on a very high slope. You can only get in and out by taking a taxi. Ctrip's description of the hotel is very misleading and very unreal.

Inexpensive accommodation just minutes from the centre. Furnishings and facilities average but everything clean, tidy and friendly.

Friendly welcome, spacious room on 7th floor with good linen, large bed, good shower, slightly narrow bath, all good quality amenities, very clean room with tea and coffee and a reasonably priced mini bar and free safe. The breakfast was very good with an especially good selection of fresh breads and home made cakes and pastries. The welcome in the breakfast room was always very friendly and staff helpful. The hotel is easily accessible from airport. We used Uber at 11 euros. The hotel has numerous bars and restaurants nearby though it is a bit away from the old town. We enjoy walking so didn't mind that hotel is 50 mins from the river on foot though of course there will be public transport. Did not use bar nor small gym but overall we had an excellent stay with no issues at all. Happy to recommend and more than happy to return.

Lovely hotel, breakfast excellent, great location about half way between Porto itself and the beach. HOWEVER, very disappointed with the attitude and poor customer service provided by the roof-top bar staff. Never a smile, payment machine waved in your face before they even poured a drop - didn't make for a very pleasant experience 😢. Get a personality and take a bit of pride in your job boys or do something else!
