Great hotel. Has everything going for it. Breakfast good choice. Room good size . All amenities. House staff lovely and helpful. Restaurant excellent, worthwhile booking to ensure a seat. Spa and indoor pool very relaxing.

The location is good, just beside the Libera Square next to the Douro River, drinking beer in the food stalls on the square, eating fried chicken wings, this feeling can not be described! The rooms are small but they are also available in Europe. What moved me was that I was going to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. The hotel not only called me a taxi, but also prepared two exquisite breakfasts for us! The city of Porto is not big, but there are many attractions worth visiting, especially the Lello Bookstore. If I go to Porto next time, I will stay at this hotel.

When you come to Porto, be sure to book your accommodation here! The location is not bad and the cleanliness of the facility is very good! The guy who was so nice when I checked in spoke well and gave me a welcome drink? Same wine? I gave it to you and it was so delicious!! They didn't put up a room cleaning sign, so I just got a towel and tried to go back in, but they cleaned the room while we were out and eating! And they also brought me a towel... I'm sorry ㅠㅠ But I was so thankful that they treated me so kindly! I am happy that I had really good memories and a good accommodation during my second trip to Porto!! Highly recommended!! Other apps are a bit expensive, but Trip offers a discount, so I got it for 150,000 won for 2 nights!!

This is a chain apartment hotel. Check-in is handled online via video. If the Chinese are not good at English, don’t choose this option. However, this is the hotel with the best value for money and the best location. The apartment room and bathroom are large enough, making it comfortable to live in.

Having had to leave our previous 'hotel' as it was so horrendous we arrived here where we were greeted with very friendly staff and a warm lobby. They sorted us a room and must have given us a really nice room following our bad experience as we were on the 6th floor at the back with a lovely view of the city. The room itself was really quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept so well! There was a TV, free wifi, AC/heating and a really nice bathroom. The bar/room service menus were reasonably priced and the staff had great knowledge of the city. The hotel itself is about a 5/10 minute walk from the main station you arrive in to from the airport which was really handy for our early journey on our final day. Would stay here again if I went back to Porto!

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Spacious room with large bathroom. The shower with improvable water pressure. Simple but correct installations. No frills breakfast. The location of the hotel is 20 minutes from the center on foot, and 5 minutes from the metro (Marqués Station). Several restaurants around.

We really loved this hotel. The rooms and washrooms were spacious and well kept. The mini fridge was stocked and well priced. There is a mall in short walking distance and some great restaurants. We would have preferred to stay closer to the downtown area however the taxi ride was only 10 euro so it wasn’t too costly and the hotel really was beautiful.

Great location close to the Metro, although a bit noisy as there is construction outside and a barking next door. The rooms are tiny with minimal amenities. This is not a 4 star hotel as our package promised. Just a heads up, they charge you for extra coffee pods. Staff here is professional and very helpful-they wear many hats! They helped us book an amazing tour. Walking distance to shopping, an amazing indoor food court, and grocery stores. The breakfast room is very nice, and has good selections.
