Portsmouth Port Solent

I’m amazed with my experience! Unfortunately me and my partner got stuck in the uk for 3 days and headed down Portsmouth to get the boat.Which from there we stayed here for one night.It was my partners birthday and we didn’t do much for it, I asked kirk at the desk if they could help me out with something to do,he said that they could arrange a desert and write happy birthday on it for him.I was really happy they could help me out with this and they arranged it all for him.When we came downstairs for our meal I was absolutely amazed that they had gone above and beyond for his birthday, there was a balloon and a banner all decorated for him, A MASSIVE credit to Tina who set this all up for him and had the amazing idea of doing so and brought out a pancake with ice cream and sprinkles and even put happy birthday in chocolate icing for him!Thank you to all premier inn staff for making this birthday special when we couldn’t go home for it.Julie Elouise kirk and especially TINA we thank you very much!!!

We've just stayed for a week over Hubby's Birthday - It's our 2nd time staying at this one. Apart from strangely not having any drawers or much storage in general and only 6 hangers with no more available, this time, it was a relaxed stay. All the staff were really helpful with whatever we asked about, anything extra (we drink way too much Tea 😁) we asked for was never an issue. Lovely staff and lovely stay. Thank you 😊

The staff were lovely and so helpful but unfortunately we had a quadruple room for the family and the 4th bed under the main bed was disgusting, it hadn't been used in months and was covered in dust so bad that even housekeeping were so surprised, my daughter didn't want to sleep on it after so we squashed into the other beds together, see the photos below

The family room was clean and very spacious with modern facilities and plenty of hot water. The pull out additional bed in the family room was significantly shorter than a standard double and very hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep on for my 10 year old. The other residents were noisy which, in addition to the uncomfortable beds, made us feel unrested during our stay.

Very comfy bed, nice room nice hotel. Ideal for visiting relations in surrounding areas. Would stay there again Check in Receptionist rude and snappy at first. Not a good start. Also didn't realise when we booked about cost of parking. Bit naughty

The rooms are great, except for the condensation inside the windows overnight and the noise from the car park outside. The beds are very comfortable. The only reason I gave 3* and not 5 was the restaurent. The service and food was terrible in the evening, just glad we weren't booked in for breakfast as well - we'd never have caught our boat on time!
