Food excellent Service very professional friendly staff.

My friend and I stayed in twin room. Waa very impressed with the service given and the room itself was perfect for us staying over for one night for a Christmas get together in Portsmouth. We would definitely recommend and go back again to stay. Using this app, was quick and easy I shall be using again in the near future. Thank you :) .

Hotel great value. Staff very friendly and accommodating but needs more staff behind bar as food orders are also taken there and waiting time for drinks are to long as food orders were taking priority over bar customers other wise very polite and friendly.

Average place. Good location. Nothing else.

Although the room was dated and basic, it was clean and equipped with tea/coffee making and toiletries. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff were helpful and asked without prompting about allergies, my allergy was catered for.

We have just returned home after our 2nd visit to this hotel. We booked 2 nights in a feature room including breakfast. After reading some reviews left on Tripadvisor about this hotel I was a little apprehensive but thinking back to my previous visit in June I was sure there wouldn't be anything to worry about. Yet again we had a lovely room with a sofa, table and chairs and a lovely comfortable bed. The room as before was spotless yes the decor was tired and both the room and bathroom could do with a little TLC but it certainly didn't spoilt our stay. Everyone in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was yet again clean with a good selection of meals to choose from. We ate there on both nights, the second night we both chose the sizzling steak with it being our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast on both mornings were good with a assortment of cereals, croissants, various meals from the kitchen and a really tasty cooked breakfast, washed down with plenty of tea or coffee. Yes, I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and plan to return in the Spring.

5out5 Jack gave amazing service really helpful food was great But service was outstanding Jack went out of his way to check everything was ok which was really good he’s is definitely an asset to the pub restaurant we will defiantly be back lovely food

We had a wonderful time here for a week. Yes the rooms are dated but still comfortable and clean. The restaurant is a child friendly place and yes they do run around screaming but wasn’t a problem for us, we went into the over 18 area and it was fantastic. The staff are amazing and friendly the one member that stood out to us was Brandon he was always happy and a great laugh he done everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much effort for him and he took the time to get to know us. He made our week. Highly recommended this hotel

The worst hotel I have ever been, very outdated, smelly hallways, dirty rooms and very hot rooms provided with a small dirty fan over the desk. Terrible place to be . The premium inn was about the same price as this but unfortunately I choose this place. If you have any choice to stay away from this. It’s was nightmare from horror movies location.
