Motel 6 Portsmouth, NH

Staff was particularly friendly and efficient. Room was very clean, comfy and quiet, and the price was right! Super convenient for me, in this case being able to walk to a concert at the Cisco Brewery. Would definitely stay again.

Checking in was ok. The rooms thermostat was eithe locked or broken. Over all the it was like a 75-90 dollar quality hotel.

Our microwave dod not work in room 405 at all made horrible noise bed was hard only 2 pillows shower curtain held with one screw. Room was dusty and sheets did not look like they were changed. Bring your own pillows and sleeping bag to put on top of mattress for your safety

This motel was perfectly fine, great location, clean enough, check in experience was fantastic. But when we arrived to the room, the toilet was completely broken and wouldn’t flush. They told us nothing could be done about it that night, as we were late checking in, so we had no useable washroom. This was an awful experience for travellers just looking for a place to stop over. My advice to the Motel 6 would be to check their facilities to make sure they’re working while cleaning between guests… it clearly hadn’t been done, as there was still toilet paper in there from previous guests.

It was what you would expect for the price. My only complaint was the electrical outlets were sketchy and I had to get on my hands and knees to get to the one between the beds.

Place was clean and very basic.

You had to manhandle the door to get it opened and even more so to close

Some general maintenance would be a good idea--elevator was a little "rickety," for example. But overall, the place was good enough for my needs.
