A beautiful hotel with a view of the sea. The decoration matches its name and is very artistic. Breakfast was very rich. If you are traveling by car (SITA) to Positano, remember to get off at Positano C. Nuova (the car stops at many places in positano), the closest to the hotel

Lovely hotel, helpful staff but the best part of all was the view from our room - absolutely beautiful. Pool and beach area was nice. Funicular was appreciated. Location good, away from the hustle and bustle but just a short ride into the main town. Whilst we would stay here again, and would recommend, I wouldn’t rate it 5/5 as it didn’t feel like pure luxury. Great, but not luxury.

The location of the accommodation is really great!! 👍🏻👍🏻 It's located right in front of the beach, and there's a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is any accommodation in Positano with a better location. Air conditioning and refrigeration are both provided. It may be a bit difficult to find the entrance to the accommodation when checking in. The large yellow building is the accommodation, and the entrance is between the accommodation and the restaurant on the left side facing the accommodation. If you go through that iron door, you will find the accommodation! The host is an old lady named Rossa, and although she doesn't speak English very well, she tries to explain things as kindly and easily as possible. When I said I wanted to use porter service on the day of check-out, they made a reservation for me. I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews, but it was really good. It was the best accommodation, so beautiful and nice. We also upgraded our room. Everyone, make your accommodation reservations :) I miss the kind rossa. Absolutely LOVED our stay here!! The location is perfect with stunning views of Positano from our room balcony . Breakfast was great- Nice selection of breads/pastries, fruits/meats/cheeses, yogurts , and hot items (eggs, cooked meats and vegetables). Tony brought out a ham and cheese omelette for me, which was amazing! Along with delicious Italian pastries! He is such a friendly person … and goes above and beyond . Actually, the entire staff at this hotel are ALL awesome… so friendly and helpful! The housekeeping staff were great… I wish I knew the name of the young girl bc she was always so kind. Same with the gentlemen working the front desk in the evenings ! Side note: Laundry services here are reasonably priced and very fast … we were able to get all our clothes laundered during our stay. The location is excellent, 5-10min walk down to the main area of Positano… absolutely stunning views! 10000% recommend this hotel and we can’t wait to come back!

Book it! Tip: Call the hotel directly. The price when we called and inquired was lower than what was shown on 3rd party sites. The staff is excellent. I repeat -they were excellent! It rivals the best hotels in the world for its elevated service. We loved the location, and if you want an excellent view with impeccable service for dining, Il Tridente, located on the pool level deck will not disappoint . In Positano, many restaurants are on the road with cars driving by. Hotel Poseidon provides an opportunity to dine above the noise of the street; far better than other options. I traveled with my 22year old son, and we both agreed it was the best meal we had from Rome to Sorrento and everywhere in between. Our room had a huge patio balcony with two lounge chairs and a bistro table. The stroll down to the beach is easy, and the stone steps down to the beach are close by if you prefer that. The hotel is positioned on the cliffs for the morning sunrise with your coffee. It is perfect, and has the charm and elegance you want in such a historic seaside town. We drove, and they made parking easy (we just pulled up and they took care of it). If you know about driving along the Amalfi coast, you know it isn’t easy and parking is a nightmare. Hotel Poseidon made it easy. We really loved it and would have stayed longer if we weren’t locked into reservations in another town the next few days. I will be back!

We come to play in the off-season. There are not many hotels to choose from. When driving and navigating, we can only find directions. There is a one-way line in front of the door. We cannot park. The hotel stops at the designated parking lot. Hotel rooms are ok, ocean view rooms with small terraces, breakfasts are not many but they are good. It is still not recommended to live in Positano during the off-season. It is too depressed at night and there are few restaurants open. There is no one on the sea breeze on the street. Walking to the restaurant recommended by the hotel on the beach requires self-stories. It should be better to live in Almafi, and the surrounding Positano Ravello Suriento has enough time for the day to play

We were absolutely blown away by ISP. We usually stay at Treville, a few hundred metres away towards Positano, but as they were closing for the season we moved to ISP. Treville dropped us off in their boat, and we made our way up the lift to reception. As soon as stepped out of the lift we immediately decided to extend our stay for another night. The views are simply extraordinary, and a we were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with a wall of glass overlooking Positano. Even the shower and tub had the same panoramic view. The food was exquisite, both at the informal beach restaurant and their Michelin restaurant, Zass. Yes, it is expensive, but the food and drink prices are very reasonable for a hotel of this quality. The mini bar was included, and they even threw in lunch on the beach on the final day when they were closing. Throughout the stay, there was huge generosity of spirit, with the most charming staff, led by the best GM we have ever experienced running the show front and centre. It is unfair to compare ISP with Treville - they are both world class hotels. Treville is akin to staying with friends in their incredible private villa, whereas ISP is the full 5 star hotel package with facilities and restaurants to match. But both excel at service, with nothing too much trouble. We can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Posa Posa. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a wonderful sea view from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the service was fantastic. The Hotel has a good location, not far from the center and the restraurants. The restaurant was very good with attentive service. Definitily is high recommended

We stayed here for four nights beginning of October and it was exceptional! The staff were so helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous and so unique. We stayed in Room 1 in the original section of the building and it was wonderful and spacious. The bathroom was up a flight of stairs which was unique but worth it as the shower was amazing. They sent us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary which was so sweet and the lemon cake they gave us at check in was incredible. Breakfast each morning was so good. We ate at their restaurant, Al Palazzo, and it was our favorite meal in Positano hands down. We flew into Naples and the hotel arranged a private pickup and stop to tour Pompeii for two hours and then to the hotel. They also arranged a car service to go to Ravello for the day which was beautiful. They also helped give us bus maps and restaurant recommendations to go do the Path of the Gods. FYI - It was no joke! We’re fit and our legs were shaking at the end. This hotel really exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect being close to the center beach, the bus stop and shopping. With so many amazing hotel options to choose from in Positano, it was tough to pick one but we were so happy we chose Palazzo Murat!! 5 stars all the way!!
