Pros: clean, check in and check out worked well, everything worked, well equipped Cons: Quite small, very steep hill to access the units and to park, bed up against the window so the inside person has to climb over the outside person to get out of bed, smoking allowed just outside the window and door so could have significant secondary smoke in the unit, many cigarette butts in the ashtray just outside the door, could hear the people next to us .

Great spot on a steep hill, exactly what we needed: very clean and comfy beds. It isn’t luxurious but it has big tv, blackout curtains, kitchenette, and an older but refreshed bathroom- we didn’t need anything more! The lady who checked us in was friendly, showed us all the remotes for tv, lights, and heat before asking us to let her know if we needed anything so it was a welcoming spot as well.

Pros -nice view and location -friendly front desk and check in -super clean -comfortable bed and nice linens -stocked kitchenette -conveniently located and can walk to restaurants CONS -views blocked by cars parked in front of where we sit to watch the view -a bit out dated -need to provide more towels -shower mat was stained and dirty -lots of yellow jackets outside (need to spray for pests) -over priced for what you get- a very old motel

Très bon accueil et logement refait, tout en simplicité, très propre et avec l’essentiel ! Literie confortable, cuisine bien équipée! Près de nombreux restaurant et du port (5mn). Étape parfaite avant la traversée pour l’île de Vancouver.

We booked this motel because of its central location - walking distance to the event that brought us to Powell River for the weekend. From the street the property appears dated, but interiors have been updated and the room was comfortable, if a little small. Bathroom was clean, and the room had all the necessary amenities for a longer stay: fridge, micro-wave, toaster, etc, etc. On-site owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Good value for the money!

We found this little gem by accident and so glad we did! The owner is adorable, friendly and most helpful. The little kitchenette rooms are wonderful and all newly renovated. Every appliance you could ever need. The views are spectacular, we sat out front and watched the whales and ferries. Walkable to anything you require. The incline to the rooms are steep but that’s why you get the amazing views. 100% recommend this motel.
