We stayed here for two nights to visit the Christmas market. (Which is directly opposite the hotel!) Firstly, this hotel is a fantastic location! We were able to navigate around perfectly and easily. Check in was smooth. And was given a really lovely twin room on the first floor over looking the Xmas market. The room had beautiful floor to ceiling windows. It was also well equipped with water/tea ect and two very comfortable twin beds! Breakfast was included in our price and was very nice! There was also take away winter tea and biscuits at the front desk to help yourself to, lovely gesture! Staff were kind and informative on things to do and see. The price was an absolute steal and we would certainly return to this hotel should we visit Poznan again! Thank you :)

I was booked it through booking.com and was believing that it was hotel but when arrived it turned out that it is a hostel. The service was lovely, lady was really polite, showed me the apartment which was really nice. I booked Deluxe suit, would have liked it it more if instead combining 2 beds together and calling it double bed the actual double bed was there. I loved how clean it was, the bathroom only need handles near shower and the heating system was a bit loud to my liking hence it disturb my sleep so unfortunnately it not a place for me to return.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay and was very happy with my experience. From the plane landing, to being in my room was less than 30 minutes. Check in was quick and all the staff were very polite and friendly. I was on the 11th floor, so it took a while to get up there, as the lift was very slow but the room was good. Being on 11th floor, the views over the city, to the south, were great, and the room itself was clean and tidy, with a big bathroom which, again, was very clean. There was a TV, a locker for hanging clothes, along with a desk and chair and 2 bottles on water. The bed was very comfortable but they do not clean your room, every day, unless you request it but that was not a problem. The only reason I cannot give a 5 star review was because the young lady who served in the lobby bar was so bad tempered and miserable. Both times I was in there, she never smiled once and she really looked as if she hated her job. She was not actually rude to me but a smile would have been nice, as well as saying hello and thank you, which she did not. The hotel is situated just under a 15 minute walk from the old town and the area is very safe, with cafes, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

L'hôtel est toujours très très bien. Le personnel à l'écoute, (une note spéciale pour Krzysztof de la réception qui est très professionnel et très aimable) hôtel toujours propre. C'est vrai que il y a des travaux juste devant l'établissement mais cela est passager et sans grande incidence. Question pour la direction de l'hôtel : POURQUOI on ne nettoye plus les chambres, même pas le remplacement du mini-bar, pas de changement de serviettes, pas vidé la poubelle.... Par contre, le niveau du petit déjeuner a légèrement baissé; c'est un peu moins varié. Peu de choix dans les pains, pas de grille pain, les tables sont débarrassés par des ”étudiants” qui ne connaissent rien à la restauration. Dès que vous leur demandez quelque chose : c'est toujours la même réponse : je vais demander. Bref, à part cela, qui peut être facilement corrigé, cela reste un très très bon hôtel et je reviendrai certainement dès que possible.

Location is about 15mins easy walk from Poznan Glowny. The hotel is close to a major shopping centre (and thus eateries), the Stary Browar. Reception was welcoming, helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable about their city. Clean room and toilet, well planned to make maximum use of space. The window opened to let in fresh air and sunlight. The kitchen area was wonderful - very clean and white, with green potted plants (albeit plastic) all around. It had a toaster and microwave.The adjoining terrace area provided fresh air and sunlight. On entry, I noted a slight musty (?) smell but it soon disappeared. I rated the hotel value-for-money, 10/10

I stayed at this hotel 4 out of 11 nights while traveling through Europe and it was by far the best of the entire trip. I initially checked in for 3 nights and requested feather-free bedding. As soon as I got to my room, housekeeping was there to change out the pillows. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a spotless lounge chair and ottoman, desk and office chair, fridge and wood armoire. The bathroom was spacious and brightly lit with a large walk-in rain shower/hand-held sprayer combo. While this is a pet friendly property, I saw no signs of pets and had no allergy issues during my stay. My reservation included breakfast, which was an elaborate buffet of hot and cold options. The property has two restaurants on-site and is situated within walking distance of various restaurants and the mall. Due to a flight cancellation, I needed to stay an additional night. The front desk staff extended my stay in a matter of seconds. The staff was extremely professional and the hotel was fabulous! I would gladly return to this hotel if I return to the area!

The rooms are great, bar good, a little expensive, the only reason for 4 not 5 was that the entire hotel did not have wifi as it was broken, this was devastated because i had to work on my laptop. I would have gone somewhere else if i knew that. That said very professional desk staff and very nice rooms.

I was really pleasantly surprised with the Moderno. Quietly professional and relaxing. Very good rooms and staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Nicely decorated and good rooms and beds giving a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent and the two meals I had in the restaurant were great with one of the best steaks I have had. I’d like to think that I will be back!

Stayed twice, for one night each time, over Easter 2023. Really enjoyable stays. This is an exceptionally well presented hotel and encourage everyone not to be put off by the Hampton brand - this place is better than most UK Doubletrees if you simply need somewhere to get your head down. The hotel is very modern with amazing rooms, a bar which sells drinks and snacks at reception (500ml Pilsner - 14zl) and a decent breakfast buffet. Very polite and efficient receptions staff. Excellent value parking, Definitely an option for tourists flying in or out of the airport. Simple to find if you are driving. Good access into the old town (taxi or train). I will definitely stay again.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for 5 nights/6 days while on a business trip in Poznan, Poland. This is an aesthetically beautiful hotel. The hotel staff doesn’t speak much, perhaps because I am an English speaker, but they do smile back at you. The hotel looks and smells clean. The room is a good size. My room had 2 twin sized beds. I had never encountered twin sized beds in a hotel before; I typically have between full size to king size beds in my hotel room so this was different. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast in the mornings, and there is a restaurant and cafe in the hotel also. If traveling from another country to Poland to stay at this hotel, be sure to confirm if you need to get a separate AC Adapter. This hotel does not offer loaner AC Adapters. I had to find a store that sold the type of adapter that I needed. There are no toiletries other than hand soap, body wash, and shampoo. There are no toothpaste or toothbrush, etc. available. There is no ironing board or iron in the room. There are also no washcloths available. Note that there is a safe and a refrigerator in the room. The refrigerator does not get very cold at all. I actually thought it was not working and called the receptionist to have it looked at. The maintenance person came to check it and informed that the refrigerator is intended to cool drinks only and is not intended to hold for example, leftover food, etc. for more than 24 hours. This was a huge disappointment as I had a take out container of food that I was trying to save for the next day. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was peaceful and although small, the bed was very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the variety of options for breakfast.

GGuest UserSpent three nights recently and the hotel staff were very professional. Rooms were clean however our bathroom had only one towel on arrival. This was quickly sorted and towels were sent to the room when we requested them. The spa and pool are clean and very nice. Breakfast had lots of options and staff again were very profesisonal. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the hotel is ideally located near the Medical University. The walk into town is about 20 minutes. One suggestion would be to have a SMART TV in the room. With small children who do not speak Polish the tv channels are limited. Will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserPołożenie jest bardzo fajne, wszędzie bardzo blisko. Wszystko dostępne na piechotę spokojnym spacerkiem. Stare miasto na wyciągniecie ręki. W okolicy pełno sklepów, restauracji, knajp itp. Okolica tłoczna ale samo mieszkanie ciche. Na dole restauracje, jednak nic u góry nie czuć 😊 Apartament w stylowej kamienicy, dzięki czemu czuć klimat dawnych lat i samego Poznania. Kamienica wyremontowana, czysta oraz bezpieczna – tak samo jak okolica. Samo mieszkanie fajnie urządzone – proste i nowoczesne. Przestronne, jasne w pełni wyposażone. TV z mnóstwem kanałów, pełne wyposażenie kuchni (brak zmywarki). Śniadania naprawdę bardzo dobre i duży wybór. Śniadania w budynku obok – 1 minuta. Możliwość rezerwacji lunch boxów dla tych co nie mają możliwości przyjść na śniadanie, co jest fajną opcją. Raz korzystałem. Niestety to co jest na duży minus to czystość! Czuć kurz i bród na podłodze, w okolicy ścian pełno „kotów” z kurzu.

FfugreeI checked into the Hotel Focus in April 2020 at the start of the coronovirus emergency, and ended up staying there for nine months! It was absolutely great. The staff are truly fantastic (helpful, friendly and caring). The rooms are delightfully designed and well appointed, and this modern medium-size hotel is perfectly located. The tram line is at your doorstep, Posnania Shopping Mall is a 10-minute walk, and so is the Polytechnic. The city centre is 7 minutes by tram. The room I lived in was so beautiful that it looked out on a nice woodland park, so I slept to the sounds of nightingales singing in spring and early summer! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the homemade cheese and the bread selection (baked daily on site). I have stayed in so many hotels all around the world, but none as clean as the Hotel Focus. The housekeeping staff are incredible. They keep the place literally spotless. This hotel really sets the standards in many ways. In a nutshell, this hotel (without any exaggeration) deserves seven or eight stars easily. You will have a very pleasant stay there. Thank you Marek (the manager), the reception staff, and everyone at the Hotel Focus. You really made my stay very enjoyable. I can't wait to stay with you again.

HHIT_1We decided to give the Hotel another try ,because the location is still good :),the Old Town in the same place were it was 5.5 years ago ;) and there is an underground garage it costs 50 pln (12.5 € )per night,it's not cheap ,but convenient. The room was clean,spacious with coffee & tea making facilities and 2 complimentary btls of mineral water.Our room overlooked Podgorna street and the big windows are not sound proof, you could hear cars,trams and merrymakers in the night. It's better to have the room overlooking Sw. Marcin street (no noisy trams).We were pleased to note that breakfast came back to high standard .There was a lot of fresh and tasty dishes to choose from ,great improvement from our last visit in February 2019.The staff was nice and helpful as always.

GGuest UserThe hotel was not the best location. I was about 20 minutes from the centre of Poznan and about 15 minutes from the Central Train Station. It is in a neighborhood where there are no many restaurants or cafes. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. There was a cooker, tea and coffee and a quite large TV. The bathroom was also new, large and very clean. Breakfast in the dining room was very abundant but completely Polish (meat, sauce, salads). There were a few cereals, bread to cheese, marmelade, cheese and some fruit. There were many kinds of tea and infusions and coffee, but the only thing there was was milk, no trace of vegetable drinks. The dining room was rented for events, so there were always many people going around there.

Excellent hotel and excellent staff we were staying as a base while we worked doing humanitarian aid to Ukraine, everything we asked for qas provided amd more, only thing was the food menu was a bit static and set in stone but other than that the rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. Staff were friendly always saying morning goodnight asking about our day, cannot fault them at all.

GGosia MVery often we are guests of the hotel, travel with two dogs, a great hotel, very cozy and homely deserves more than 2 stars for sure, very nice, warm and clean rooms, delicious breakfasts, nice staff as well as hotel manager, we will still come often because we love this place 🤗😁
